I am in a way burdened with this role of being princess. I don't really get the freedom that I want. I have plenty of responsibilities that comes along with it. My father expects me to marry someone I don't even love. The role takes on a few good things though. I have servants at my feet, at my every command and plenty of great, royal parties.

My father is about to go to war with Rafeekima, our rival enimies. My secret best friend Ana Seude is the princess of that kingdom. I talk to her privatly all the time, just hoping that my father doesn't ever catch me. I have different plans for my life than he has for me. I want to be free........

I am Ana Suede, princess of Rafeekima and my country is at war. My father is the Rafeekima dictator, a great and powerful man. We are at war because our rival country wants taxes lower, and my father refuses. I try to keep to myself in my tower, or go swimming in the lake when I have alone time. My mother died when i was 3, and the only friend I have is Destiny. We have been friends since my mothers death, and I am grateful so much for her.

The war ended after four years of strife. I will be going to a peace treaty conference in the neutral kingdom of Izagrim, ruled by patriach Dthera. It will be the first time in years that I see my best friend. I just talked to her last week and can't wait to see her.

I watch from the carriage at the rolling green hills and the large trees that are native to Izagrim. I watch a troupe of High Gaurd ride up to the warriors, protecting my father, King Struhm and I. They will escort us to the palace. It was Izagrim's military threats that forced both sides to start talks of peace, and my father doesn't enjoy being pushed around.

Its at 1300 hours before the confrence starts to get busy. I had arrived this morning to help my father set up. I knew I would be seeing Destiny today, which had my heart pounding. It had been so long, and after receiving her letter my servant had collected from her, stating she would be on my side of town, I could barely sleep the whole past week. I couldnt wait to tell her what i had been up to, how life has been, etc. But there was another reason why I was so desperate to see her.

I am in the palace, next to the window when I hear her fathers voice. "Come now, Destiny, don't take all afternoon". I couldn't help but stick my head out and look down to see her get out of the carriage just in time. A deep breath just seemed to comeout of me uncontrollably. It was such a relief to see my friend, my only friend, once again. she was even more beautiful than I remember....

I get out of the beautiful white carriage, my father awaiting. Another peace treaty, is what I think in my head. I then let out a sigh of releif, Ana will be here and It's the best thing that's happened in years. I then scold my father for being so impatient and he back hands me for talking with a certain tone in my voice. My father is no man to fuck with. I then follow a servant to the guest rooms, which are right across the hall from the royal family of Rafeekima. I glance somewhat to the open door of Ana's room and spy her looking at me, I gasp of surprise of how beautiful she has become, but her father slams the door as my father and I walk by. I then say to myself, "This is going to be some long peace talks to get my father and hers to agree of a lasting peace." I walk into the royal room of flowers florishing the entire room. I sit on the bed to relax from the long ride, when father says,"There is no time Destiny, for lying around...lets go daughter."

I saw her!!! I saw her! I knew my day would go well. her father seemed quite displeased at the placement of his quarters. I'm not. I get out of my rechid blue dress, why I still have it i dont know. I have my two personal servents draw me a warm bath, and i lay in it for the remainder of the afternoon. Knowing she was right across the hall, and that the conference would be starting relatively soon, i knew exactly how much time I had. After my bath, i get out and put on my white gown, and have my servant, Sha`ree wrap my hair in a twisted bun, with my white shawl. I open my door, my father had left by now, so I was guessing hers has too. I put my ear to the door, nothing but silence. I tap my fingers on the door, singly sweetly, "My butterfly, you've flown away. My butterfly, come back to me today. My butterfly, i miss you so much. My butterfly, you have the softest touch". I hear feet scatter, and the door swung open, nearly forcing me to fall into her room. There were attention-grabbing shreiks and laughter, and we grabbed each other and hugged and smiled and laughed. I was so happy to see my dear friend again.

My father got called out of the room for a minute, saying to be ready for thr peace signing in an hour. All I can think about is how I can't wait til this shit is over with so I can have the rest of the night with Ana. The things we talk about in our letters is amazing to the mind. We talk about how much we want to be together. Her and I had never fooled around, but had kissed passionatly before, but was rushed by my servant, saying my father was expecting us back to the castle at night fall. The whole ride was exilerating. All I kept thinking about was how much I wished we could be together. Well that was a long time ago. Since then we've talked about things that we're going to do to eachother and so forth. My father would disown me if he knew I was Bi. He would say no daughter of his is going to rebell against him. He's very old fashoined. I just need to find someway to be with her all the time and still hide it from my father. The only one who knows my secret is my servant Raiden. He's my best friend. I can talk to him about anything and everything, and he won't go against me and tell my father.

I soaked in a nice hot bath, just the way I like it. I then put on my red silk gown and Raiden braided my long locks for me. I then notice it's getting near that time to the signing so I hurry to the door, with Raiden following.

I open my door and to my surprise I see my loving Ana. We hug each other so tightly. I then look around to see if my father or anyone is around, so that they don'y catch me talking to my belothed enemy. "I missed you so much Ana..how have you been my love?" I do love this girl with all my heart. She has become such a beautiful young woman.
