Almost forgot! I watched this movie for 1 1/2 hours last night and missed the last half hour. For some strange reason, our local TV station thought it was much more important to carry the live verdict in the Mark Chmura sexual assault trial as it was announced late last night. (He was innocent, for anyone who cares.)

So, I think I can guess how it ended but I want details. Last I saw, Julia Roberts was headed in to the bride to tell her that Michael still wanted to marry her if she'd have him. Julia told her that and the bride went nuts screaming for joy.

Then what happened? Did she ever confess to emailing that note to Michael's employer from his future father-in-law's computer? What?

Is there no one out there who has ever seen this movie? I admit it wasn't one of the all time best, but I at least would like to know how the last half hour went! Please?

Julia confesses, Michael marries Kimmy, George shows up to dance at the reception with Julia. I absolutely love this movie, mainly because I adore Rupert Everett. I watch it at least 2 or 3 times a month. The scene in the restaurant is too funny.

Nope sawwy...

But I was at my best friends wedding yesterday and had the video camera to take the film (video) of the wedding.

The battery gave out after 2:12 mins so I only got the arrival of the bride and her getting out of the car before it quit.

I did not see Julia anywhere around, so I can't help with your need.

What? After all of that, Julia doesn't end up with Michael- he still marries Kimmy? What about the scene they showed right before a commercial- it looked like Julia was finally asking Michael to marry her. What did he say in response?

Kimmy sees Julia kissing Michael after she proposes & runs away. I don't know that Michael ever answers the proposal because he goes chasing after Kimmy. Julia steals a catering truck to go after them both. She calls George on the cel phone & he asks if Michael kissed her back. George also asks her if it is really about Michael or just about winning. Julia realizes that Michael does love Kimmy & she finds Kimmy at the baseball stadium (I think) & convinces Kimmy that Michael loves her. Michael & Kimmy get married, drive off in a shower of fireworks & Julia is sitting at the reception being bored. George calls her on the cel phone, describes her dress & she realizes he is in the room because she never told him the color of her dress. They meet, they dance & the movie ends. Can you tell that I have watched this movie WAY too many times.

THank you!!!! I was afraid I was going to have to rent the thing to see how it ended. That isn't what I would have guessed!

Glad I could help, there aren't a lot of modern movies that I like, but this is one of my favorites. I was kind of surprised at the ending, but it works.

You know what I don't get...why would a 34 year old man even condescend to lock himself in a bathroom with a child? *sigh*

Sorry...loved the movie...LOL

I thought the movie could have been better, but I suppose it was alright.

And yes, the ending does fit. Not the typical girl-gets-guy result one expects. It makes sense though.

I love the very end when she is sitting in the reception hall and Rupert (whatever his name was in the movie, I forget) is talking to her on the phone and 'picturing' what she's doing, etc. She spots him and they dance. Heck, I think that was my favourite part of the whole movie! Too bad you missed it, Cheyenne.

Dammit all. Now I'm going to HAVE to put the movie in my VCR again to watch it for the millionth time. See how you people influence others????????

Every morning when I make up....before I put on my make up...........

I say a little prayer for you...Forever and ever .....

Now that song will be stuck in my head for a week.
