Actually I get all kinds of warm butterflies when Jounar decides to "show me off" in some happy way. In some perverse way, it makes me feel like he's proud to have me. *shrug*

How ever, even if he does show me off cause he's proud of something I've done, my reward is independant of that. He doesn't much care what other's think, he just wants to express his pleasure in me.

The Qur'an lists pride too as major sin.

The buddhists don't have the concept of sins, but nevertheless rate actions in good or bad that will harm yourself in this or some other life. Pride would hinder your progress on the path of enlighment.

It's not much different for the Hinduism, there "ahankar" is a sin, as it opposes the desired humility of the believer. For the Sikhs it is even a cardinal sin again.

So, as far as I can tell, all major religions (> 100 million supporters) have pride as sin.

Look, I fist off said right out that I'm over sensitive at the moment so bite me.

Second, I never said that you were the only one doing it. You're comment was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

Third, you were the one that first said that you wanted to provoke discussion about showing off and displaying one's pyl. Lizzy just suggested how that might be accomplished, if that was truly your desire.
