Hi everyone. I don't post here often, really not much at all. I have just finished a new story and I am having trouble deciding what category it falls into.

I understand that loving wives is where cuckold stories go. However mine is filled with lots of other kinks and fetishes like feet to a man wearing panties. The story became a romance story as I wrote it.

So what I'm wondering is does it still go into loving wives maybe with an authors note warning readers of the content or would it fit better into fetish?

Once you branch out into a lot of kinks, it becomes difficult to categorize a story.

Unless you want some of the nastiest feedback you've ever gotten ( and a dozen people screaming that you should have put the story in fetish ) I wouldn't put it in Loving Wives.

In this case, with all the additional fetishes, I'd say "Fetish" is the way to go. Just tag it properly with each fetish. You could put an author's note on it if you wish, but a lot of people use "cuckold" in author's notes as a signpost to low-vote your story and leave nasty comments, no matter where you post it.

It sounds as if your story might be humiliation cuckold, in which case, the other fetishes are actually part of the greater cuckold fetish, and I would expect those readers to accept them without problem ( and probably glee )

To maximize a target readership of people who will enjoy the story, I believe fetish is the way to go.

If you just want to maximize the number of people who read your story, drop it in Loving Wives. The score will be horrible, and the ( many ) comments worse ( up to and including death threats ) but a lot of people will see your story anyway. You'll probably find a readership who will enjoy the story there as well, but they'll be buried in both score and feedback by the cuckold haters in the category, who are known to go through your entire story list ( regardless of category ) leaving low scores and nasty comments.

Thank you very much for your advice. Fetish seems like the way to go with all of the other fetishes in the story.

It's not quite a humiliation cuckold scene. One of my goals while writing it was to make it very clear that that male character, also the voice of the story, very much enjoys every minute of it. It was quite enjoyable to write, which is probably why it ended up sort of as a romance story. I didn't want to just jump in with *wham bam* you're my bitch now watch me get fucked.

Negotiating category choice can be a tricky thing. I really expected others to chime in as well, but I guess everyone agreed with me
