Hey all,

Just looking for some general advice if anyone has encountered this problem before. When I get an erection my penis points straight back up against my stomach and is super hard/stiff and unable to move too much without causing pain. This causes problems during sex b/c it severely limits the positions we can get away with.. ie doggy style isn't even possible =\

What I'm asking about is is there any sort of remedy or cure to this, or is it simply something i'll have to live with?

Thanks for any input..

My first thought is that there are probably penis stretches out there that you could do while you are erect. You would have to stretch SLOWLY and EASILY so that you don't tear anything!! It would probably take some time (like months maybe even yrs) to stretch it to a normal position (90 degrees or so from the body).

I would google "Penis Stretches" and see what you find. Yes, you'll have to rid out the Penis Extension sites, but you may find some really good info on how to fix your problem.

Good Luck Sweetie!!

HERE is a site that I found that has some info. It also gives 2 devices (at the bottom) that will straighten a curved penis. They are a bit pricey, but it will give you an idea of what you may need to achieve your goal.

Have you talked to your doctor about this and gotten a referral to a specialist, if necessary?

If not, that should be your first stop. You can even bring info on the stretches and devices LBS linked to in to see if they're likely to be safe and effective. There's no sense in wasting your money on devices and such if they have no chance of working and/or might do serious damage, right?

Frankly, it surprises me that people come here with problems like this - both those that are genuinely dangerous and those that are like this one - BEFORE they see a doctor. Somehow, I don't think that anybody on here is going to be a good replacement for an accredited physician who can actually observe the problems. Just amazing.

To his credit.... usually people post questions like this to get general information. To see if anyone else has had the same problem and maybe what they did to help it. I can see why someone would post before seeing a doctor, but I would also NOT take their words for gospel. It would just be more information than I had before and with that information I would make a decision to see a dr or not. Now this is just me, but I'm sure there are many others that think this same way. It's not like he's in a life threatening situation.

Don't knock someone for asking a question... that's what this forum is for.

Likewise.

We are not equipped to answer medical questions here. We're not doctors. And a lot of people unfortunately DO take places like this for gospel...So ease off the snark, I think it's silly for people to come here asking a bunch of laymens what they SHOULD BE talking to their doctor about.

Thank you, S. Clearly he thinks it's a problem - if he didn't, he wouldn't have posted about it. I'm not saying don't bring your problems here, but when it relates to your body, you might as well go see the doctor first. It's just good sense.

I don't see how it hurts to ask others. That's what a forum is for. No matter what the question.

You could have replied and been NICE saying something like "you know I think this is something you should talk to your doctor about because this could be serious". Rather than be a jerk like you were.

Just my 2 cents...

I could have been nice, but I didn't. I find the whole idea stupid from the beginning. I am a blunt instrument, live with it.

No offense, but you're retarded and so is everything you've said in this thread.

How was I to know that this issue was severe enough to see a doctor about? For all I knew there was a simple solution as easy as "stop masturbating as much" or "change to boxers" and that this was a common problem. Who are you to decide what questions deem worthy to be asked in this forum?

"Sometimes when I get aroused, there is a slight amount of cum at the tip of my penis - is this normal?"

Is that a retarded question? Should people post that here, or because it relates to their body, should they go straight to a doctor? Someone who didn't know better could post that question here and be given the answer: "That is called precum, and it is perfectly natural. You have nothing to worry about". And that would be the end of that.

I explicitly stated in my OP that I wanted GENERAL advice from people who had encountered this problem before. If the advice given to me was "hey, don't worry dude - this is a perfectly normal issue and you can get around it quite easily, see here (links to a few sources)" then I would be happy and go along with my business. If on the other hand the response was "hmm I don't think that's normal, you should get it checked out" then I have no qualms with going to see a doctor. I'm traveling out of the country atm and as this isn't an urgent issue I plan on waiting til I get home to do so anyway - I only made this post to get a rough idea of what I was looking at and if anyone could give any helpful opinions on the issue.

We are not equipped to answer medical questions here

A) What ARE you equipped to answer?
B) How do you know that there aren't doctors or people who work in the medical field who read these boards and could give a more informed response?
C) You're an extremely illogical person, and as such, should probably stop giving advice to anyone. Ever. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks to everyone else :) I will get this checked out when I get back home.

Here's a clue for you.

When I get an erection my penis points straight back up against my stomach and is super hard/stiff and unable to move too much without causing pain. This causes problems during sex b/c it severely limits the positions we can get away with.. ie doggy style isn't even possible =\

Fun rule of thumb - when your wang starts hurting and you don't know why, that's when you see an experienced medical practioner rather than the fucking Internet.

A) Subjects such as advice on cosmetics and beauty products, as I have had plenty of experience in my modeling and acting career with them. Issues on BDSM since I have been a member of the BDSM community for years, and advice about relationships, since I have been in a number of different kinds of relationships and have had my fair share of problems and issues.
B) I don't know. However, I haven't seen any person here claiming to be a doctor YET and I've been on the board for nearly four years. And even if they did claim to be a doctor, that doesn't necessarily mean you should believe them. I could claim to be President Obama but that doesn't make me him.
C) You don't know me. I wasn't rude to you, in the least. I merely shared my opinion in a respectful manner. If you want to be hostile, I can play your game. Go fuck off and die. There. Do you feel vindicated now, you immature little prick?

Satin,

My post wasn't directed at you. You were not rude to me in the least, I know that. My response had nothing to do with yours and everything to do with MisterSir/the person it was directed at. I appreciate that you shared your opinion in a mature manner and apologise if you misconstrued my last post as an attack against you - I assure you, it was not.

MisterSir,

I have a headache. Should I go see a doctor? Or is it possible that many other people before me have had headaches and can give me advice on how to proceed with such an ailment? I would imagine the general consensus would be something along the lines of "drink water and rest. if it doesn't get better, try some paracetamol. If it still doesn't get better, see a doctor".

Using the above analogy, is it so ridiculously unlikely that there are not people who have had similar problems as mine and remedied them without extreme measures (ie 'devices' or unknown drugs) that I could safely try while I wait a few weeks before going home and consulting a doctor?

Perhaps my OP lacked some information. It does not hurt all the time. I never had a problem with it at all until having sex, and even then the problem only occurred while attempting certain positions. When I said 'unable to move too much' I meant away from my stomach -- probably no more than 45 degrees. This is a sex forum. Fuck, sorry for asking for some general advice on an embarrassing situation that is sexually related.

while as he admits himself, mistersir could have been nicer about it, but if i were facing the issue that you are, my impulse would also be to see a doctor--which is precisely what erika suggested in post #4.

How could your post not be directed towards me when you took "we are not equipped..." from MY post? Mistersir did not say "We are not equipped to answer medical questions here", I DID. I said that in my first post on this thread.

If you didn't direct your anger towards me, then be careful not to use my post in order to ridicule.

Are your head and your penis one and the same? If not, that's not really an example of the rule in action. If so...you've got problems but no more so than plenty of other men.

What you are describing is called Peyronie's disease. Google it or try this link http://www.peyroniesinfo.com/index.html I reccomend you see a urologist for this issue. Family doctors and internists rarely treat this problem and would refer anyway.

MisterSir: some times people ask questions here because its anonymous and they are too embarassed to ask their doctor about it.

Satindesire: I may not be a doctor... but a masters degree in medical science certainly qualifies me to answer this question.

That's great. And you gave the same advice that I did. Go and see a doctor. What a coinkidink.

Back to the subject of the bent penis.

Most penises bend one way or the other.

As a rough rule of thumb - banana shape = okay, hockey stick (not ice hockey) = see doctor.

Any pain in penis (apart from just overuse) = see doctor.

Any worry about any bit of the body - see doctor, they've seen it all and it's nice to have a fairly straightforward consultation with a bit of reassurance.

More than likely you'll be referred on to a nob-doctor / urologist if it is something.

My ex husband had this problem. It started out slowly-- bending slightly and kind of painful.. but got worse over time-- really bent and super duper painful. After we split up, he went to a doctor and found out it was a hernia, somewhere in that vicinity. He had surgery and is fine now.

My wife had a lover whos dick was bent to the right! Said it came from always jacking with the same hand! She seemed to like it though. I'll have to look for a picture.

I have read that jelking can help with a not to bent of a dick.
