Benny Haiku: A Japanese Recipe for Poetry

Daffodils dance, swayed
By zephyrs haunted by cold:
Winter smiles at Spring

Herons stand amidst
Treetops, the island of nests,
Riding through the sky.

Summer opens, no
Coy mistress she; caressed by
Blooms, her time's begun

To Paris? Let's go
On the pont neuf we will kiss
Strangers, caught in bliss.

We'll be famous then,
You can't do that sort of thing,
Nibble sedately.

Apples fall to earth
Betrayed by harsh gravity
Into autumn's dance.

Two hearts upon a rock
a light will mend them complete
kiss to have them meet

broken down inside
No heart can heal this boys time
love others i am lost
