Ben Shapiro went to see Barbie, cosplays as Ken

He has four kids. That would do it, if he wasn't already crazy before kids. For any parent who is not yet full batshit, there are plenty of Disney movies, Barbie movies, and more shit that parents here may describe in horrifying detail.

The incel Shapiro hated it so much he made a 43 minute video about it, including a bit where he bought Ken & Barbie dolls and set them on fire.

I think he protests too much.
Kid Rock lynched his entire Barbie collection.

I never got around to seeing a stage production of Barbie in the Nutcracker. I still don't know if it's an ordinary kid-friendly story or slapstick comedy with groin kicks.

The new Barbie movie is PG-13 so it's not made for little kids. It's like the Marvel superhero movies -- the target audience is teens and adults who still love the toys and comics they grew up with.

The Right has set the movie in their target to boycot. In 2 days it has become the highest grossing film of the year for the opening weekend. So much winning

Are you saying the reason conservatives hate Barbie is because of misogyny?

Jeebus...

No sweety. I'm saying, and I said, that it's because it's pink.

I like pink. I like seeing the color pink. But there's a real risk that if I watch the Barbie movie I might burn out the pink color receptors in my eyes and never see pink again.

Understand?

That’s not how color vision works, so your fears are unfounded.

It's a shame he didn't spend that 43 minutes doing something useful, like researching how elections and vaccines work.

His audience doesn't care about how elections or vaccines work. He knows his audience well

Is that supposed to be a compliment? It's not clear what the point is, but it must be profound.
