Thought I might get asked that! Sex (with a girl!) is much the same as before, and doesn't feel greatly enhanced - but yes, better.

I had a general anaesthetic so I was out. I felt fabulous from the anaesthetic when I came round! - but that feeling only lasted twenty minutes or so.

I was sore, with the glans very tender - but surprisingly there was hardly any pain at all post op. A little blood seeped for a while but that was as gory as it got.

It was two weeks exactly before I attempted any sexual activity (masturbation). The orgasm was rubbish and I shouldn't have bothered (some stitches still in!).

I'd say it takes a good month for a full recovery.

I feel I'm left with an unsightly scar, but it's better than having a foreskin that won't retract.

Phimosis, a condition where the foreskin cannot be pulled back behind the head (glans) of the penis.

Apparently in Alex's case, radical circumcision was the only course of action.

The only time it has made a difference with an uncircumsised man for me is giving a blow or hand job. I find the skin a nuisence.

I can't help but give a quick check around the glans, when the skin is pulled back to make sure its clean.

Unclean & uncircumcised can give a build-up of white, lumpy gunge (a bit like cottage cheese), called smegma.
It also smells like ripe cheese.

I could not retract the foreskin at all. That of course meant I was unable to clean myself thoroughly. Also, partners accidentally hurt me pre-op when stimulating me - the foreskin causing pain when it got tight around the glans. The moment was truly ruined when that happened!

Yes, surgery was the only answer in my case. I also think that the majority of folk prefer the look of a circumcised penis. I do.
