A recently deceased woman tries to get the attention of her boyfriend who is still living in their apartment. As she struggles with the new boundaries of being dead, she meets the ghoulish Beetlegeuse. After hearing her plight, he decides to help her reunite with her mourning lover, although, of course, not without a certain price being paid. As it turns out, even the dead have "needs". Will she be willing to pay it and what sacrifices will she have to make in order to reach out beyond the grave?
