I think I need a bedtime story. Somebody want to tell me one or recommend one? I've been having nightmares the last two weeks...happy thoughts before sleep tonight would be good.

I am sorry to hear that you have been having nightmares. Sometimes if things are bothering me I have them. Is this so in your case?
It could be a lot of things that are causing the nightmares. Are you drinking alcohol before bedtime or coffee/ soft drinks? Chocolate?Something new happening in your life or medication that you haven't had before?

Try to relax when you go to sleep. I take a natural product. Kava kava to help me sleep and avoid the nightmares.

Happy dreams. :)

It once wuz before the night Before

The seas were Stormy, and every Heart wuz bursting

It wuz so hard to find a place to lay one's head to sleep...
People were homeless, without a place to look forward to Santa

And then the Angel of Fearful Darkness came to whisper

Hush, my Child

Iz it here that only
We weep?

Lay my Wings upon your Shoulder
I am so tired

I'll show you how to Dream
It's like
Floating Away

If you let go
The wind will Whisper
And we will fly away

Your eyes flutter
Like a dream

And the Breath
Of Air

Slow your Race

I'll find you There

Is there anything on your mind that you are putting off? I kept a dream journal, and I found most of my dreams were caused by things not done. Another is to do pre-sleep conditioning. Visualize shutting down your muscles starting with your toes, and mentally travel up to your head. After you are relaxed, picture in your mind on a happy event, location, or wish. Mentally smell the grass, ocean, hear the birds (what kind do you hear?), feel the sun, or the cold snow, or the wet rain. Get the picture? It presets your brain to feeling pleasure. Give a try, I use it when I have problems sleeping.:D

PacBlue....

Check out "the sleep book" by Dr. Suess. Its designed and written to make you sleepy when read aloud.

I enjoy Calvin and Hobbes sometimes just before nodding off.
