could someone tell me how one becomes a moderator?

You do what I did. You have a lapse of sanity and volunteer. lol.

Actually what you need to do is to pm Laurel and let her know that you are available. I could always use help on the playground and the personals, and I think that there are some of the other boards that need help too.

For me, it was offered. I asked if a GLBT forum could be created, and Laurel said "sure, but we need a mod, do you want to do it?" Fool that I was, I said yes!

do you really regret it? is it like a lot of work or something? i wanted to be one but that was back like....4 hours ago when i thought it was easy work....

Just in case I ever lose my mind ( )and decide to become a mod, could one of you who is one now go through exactly what you're expected to do as one? I'm pretty sure I know all of what they do but since the subject has come up I might as well ask.
