Happy Friday, all.

Wondering how many of my fellow male Lit members of the have full beards (ladies, you can have beards, too, if you do choose. It’s a semi-free country ;)). I’ve been growing mine out for a few months (still too damn short, but I had to shave for a surgery I had recently). What do any of you use to condition your beards? I like to keep mine soft and supple with a bit of beard conditioning oil about twice a week.

I have, and have had for more than 50 years.

It was white when that picture was taken and for some years before.

It is now shorter than it was because of the effects of chemotherapy but even though the chemotherapy is continuing, it is growing longer. (and the hair on my decade-old bald patch is regrowing too. WTF!)

Full beard for years. more salt than pepper these days. no special treatments or washes used on it, just face soap and shampoo. Shaving is a major pain.

Yeah, it can be. I still have to shave my throat and cheekbones so I don’t wind up going all Neanderthal.

beard since i was 20 years old. length varies with the seasons. i can't find ANYTHING to tame my beard, i have very fine hair on my head, my beard is even more wiry than my pubes. i've tried everything from commercial 'beard balms' to vaseline, nothing relaxes it. let me know if you find a miracle product.
