It's that time of year again so I thought I'd set up a thread for those wishing to leave either general or specific Valentine's wishes for other Litsters.

Here in Finland the day is called 'Friendship Day' and is definitely not just for lovers so feel free...spread the love!

I'm not expecting outpourings of love everlasting but if we get any...great!

But if there's a poster who's made you smile, or feel appreciated...a co-writer you want to give a special mention to...or whatever...why not give them a mention here...

For all those with miles between them this Valentine's Day. I know I spent enough of them on my own over the years with Mr Brit in another time zone, another country.

All I can say man is give t those you know who will truly cherish your gifts......more so for the thought then anything.

The gift of giving maybe a one street physically, but emotionally, it can be quite rewarding.

The classic "Giving is it's own reward". Believe it or not I do thing out of the kindness of my heart not to get rewarded. If I were to give to people who cherished what I'd give them, I'd have a rather short list.

The classic "Giving is it's own reward". Believe it or not I do thing out of the kindness of my heart not to get rewarded. If I were to give to people who cherished what I'd give them, I'd have a rather short list.

I do believe it indeed. At least so much in the conscious effort that you don't want to be given a gift back, possibly not even any recognition. That seeing whomever get what it is you get or made and seeing the delight on their faces is reward enough.

The world would be much nicer if more people could think like that....at least from time to time.

Of course, but you can't help but wanting some recognition, a thank you at least but you have to go in knowing you did something good for someone even if they don't know it was from you.
