J-Le has a serious writing question.

((Don't all keel over at once))

What counts as non-human?

Anything where one partner is not of the human race, even if they are an Elf.

Psychic sex, if it were with another human, would of course not be non-human..

The name describes itself really.. I believe that you don't have to classify a story in this category if the main theme of the story revolves around something else.. Say perhaps it is a bondage story with a human woman and a minataur.. *shrug*

Just my two bits :)

I would say that non-human involves one or more characters who are sentient but not human.

I would also think it would involve beings from mythologies of one sort or another.

So minotaurs, elves, demons and vampires would be non-human.

Robots, aliens, cyborgs, or genetic mutations would come under sci-fi/fantasy.

I can't remember what category that had the tree that fucked it's victims was in. A shame we don't have a just plain weird category.

Non human has to be some kind of mythological thing like a ghost or werewolf or vampire or giant squid. It can't be an animal because that would be bestiality, which is a no-no.

... and it can't be an alien because that's Sci Fi?

I agree with another post ^^^

We need a 'just plain weird' category.

My story The Giant Squid I put in the humor and satire category.

It is as close as I want to get to bestiality. I was writing a satire on tentacle porn. If it wasn't a satire I would have submitted it as 'Non-Human'.

Sci Fi/Fantasy can include aliens or mythical beings. My Shelacta stories about a world where women are predators and each has a sexual trap; my Brigit stories about an Irish Earth Goddess; are all in that category.

I submitted my ghost stories Hannah etc. and Maids-in-Waiting as Erotic Horror. One ended up as 'Fetish'.

My really beastly story 'White Scut' I put in Erotic Horror but it could be in other categories - A rabbit gets swallowed by a vixen's pussy to be reborn as food for her cubs??? It is deservedly my lowest rated story, propping up the bottom of the Erotic Horror 'Top List'.

My latest Tripletit - see sig - is Non Human.

So, I think the answer is: 'It depends' and the editors may place it in another category if they want to.

What were you thinking???? :D

OMFG!!!!

OG, you just made a perfectly shitty day worth living LOL

That story was brilliant .... I'm still laughing hehee

Imagine doing a story spinner and ending up with that.... LOL

Sorry, but I'd be thinking... WTF????? LOL

Classic!!!!!!! I loved it ;-)

Thank you for those kind words about White Scut

It was one of the earliest submissions to the then new Erotic Horror category.

The feedback was usually 'WTF?'.

Edited to add:

Thank you to ferociouskittycat and seasparks for today's Public Comments. They are much appreciated.

That story is 174th out of 176 on the so-called 'Top List' for Erotic Horror but has risen?? to a rating of 2.42. For a long time it was at the bottom of the heap.
