Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the Supreme Court praised by religious conservatives
Sat, 26 Sep 2020 23:55:40 GMT
President Trump nominated Judge Amy Cohen Barrett to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court Saturday, a move that was immediately...

Democrat tactics will be interesting. They need to be very careful how they examine her, if at all. I think they would be just as well off not showing up at all for the hearing and not voting either for or against.

That would be consistent with the argument that she should not have been nominated at this time. Turn the hearing into a damp squib rather than the dispute the R's are hoping for.

If the Dems can’t muster the votes that’s probably a good message move.

Worse than that she might actually READ the constitution and all the supporting documents and get an understanding of WHY it was written like it was and apply the same thoughts and principles to modern day cases!

OH, the HORROR!

I just heard on one of the press shows that she wrote a dissent arguing that felons should get guns but maybe/probably not voting rights.

The ONLY way this nomination could get any better would be if she were 1/2 black, 1/2 native American...then they would have to support her or be racists.

I won't be shocked if by Monday morning Hollywood and silicon valley are pushing "Catholics are EVIL!!!" messaging in quite literally everything they put out.

Might be later in the week but the "Orange Man BADD!!" clown car is going in that gear this week.....I bet it's no later than Wednesday and wouldn't be shocked if it was first thing tomorrow morning.
