This is based on a situation that I knew of, but changed to protect the guilty and make it more interesting: A Dominant is married to a very submissive woman, who would be lost without him. He finds that he has a degenerative disease, and only has a couple of years to live. Being a little egotistical (some Doms are, you know), he believes he can select the perfect Dom for her, to replace him when he dies, and that he should do this for her rather than leaving it to her and making her go through the agony of finding her own. He runs a personals ad, interviews potential candidates, and sometimes allows them to play with her while he watches to see how she responds. There could be some interesting twists at the end when she gets accustomed to being controlled by another person with him watching-----.

It sounds to me like you have the basic story outlined and quite situated inside your mind. Have you ever written before?

As for your comment regarding the word Dom and egotistical -LOL! That was quite funny.
