Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you
To a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Cuando anochezca
Te esperare
Quiero volverte loco esta noche
Con la luna llena
Te esperare
Hoy moriras entre mis brazos
Nunca sonaras de mi aun igual

When the darkness falls
I will wait for you
I want to drive you crazy tonight
with the full moon
I'll wait for you
Tonight you'll die in my arms
You never dreamt of anything like

Let me dive in
To pools of sin
Wet black leather on my skin
Show me the floor
Lay down the law
I need to taste you more

Refrain:
Then I feel your sea
Raining down on me
Can this be my once in a lifetime
Hell's at heaven's door
As I need you more
You know you're my once in a lifetime

Todo tu cuerpo temblara
Pero esta ves, es realidad
Aunque el tiempo pase
Nunca
Nunca me olividaras
Sera
Solo una ves en tu vida

Your whole body will tremble
But this time is reality
Though the time will pass
You'll never
never forget
It will be
only once in your life

When you take me
And make me cry
Then I feel you satisfy
Show me the cage
It's all the rage
And lock it up

Found a part of me
That's a mystery
That will be just once in a lifetime
When the moon is high
Passion never dies
Will you want me for all a lifetime

Once in a lifetime
Once in a lifetime
Once in a lifetime

Giving you my soul
Letting you control
Took away a part of my lifetime
Memories of you
Left me black and blue
Now I know you're once in a lifetime

Refrain

Found a part of me
That's a mystery
That will be just once in a lifetime
When the moon is high
Passion never dies
Will you want me for all a lifetime

Refrain

Found a part of me
That's a mystery
That will be just once in a lifetime
I love this song. It sounds like such a pretty little love song. :D

:rose: The masochism tango:rose:
Album: Songs & More Songs By Tom Lehr

I ache for the touch of your lips, Dear,
But much more for the touch of your whips, Dear.
You can raise welts
Like nobody else,
As we dance to the Masochism Tango.

Let our love be a flame, not an ember,
Say it's me that you want to dismember.
Blacken my eye,
Set fire to my tie,
As we dance to the Masochism Tango.

At your command
Before you here I stand,
My heart is in my hand. Ecch!
It's here that I must be.
My heart entreats,
Just hear those savage beats,
And go put on your cleats
And come and trample me.
Your heart is hard as stone or mahogany,
That's why I'm in such exquisite agony.

My soul is on fire,
It's aflame with desire,
Which is why I perspire
When we tango.

You caught my nose
In your left castanet, Love,
I can feel the pain yet, Love,
Ev'ry time I hear drums.
And I envy the rose
That you held in your teeth, Love,
With the thorns underneath, Love,
Sticking into your gums.

Your eyes cast a spell that bewitches.
The last time I needed twenty stitches
To sew up the gash
That you made with your lash,
As we danced to the Masochism Tango.

Bash in my brain,
And make me scream with pain,
Then kick me once again,
And say we'll never part.
I know too well
I'm underneath your spell,
So, Darling, if you smell
Something burning, it's my heart.
Excuse me!

Take your cigarette from its holder,
And burn your initials in my shoulder.
Fracture my spine,
And swear that you're mine,
As we dance to the Masochism Tango.

Just beat it, beat it
Just beat it, beat it
Just beat it, beat it

They're out to get you, better leave while you can
Don't wanna be a boy.....

:D

(I just like this part so much)
Just beat it, beat it
Just beat it, beat it
Just beat it, beat it
Just beat it, beat it

I love this song!

It's been in several movies, hasn't it? And I think it's even squeezed it's way into an anime or two. Love it love it love it!

Sad thing is I know I've heard it in a movie recently, but I can't remember which one. I hate that. That's gonna drive me nuts for EVER.

(I'm one of those people that will google an actor that looks familiar if I can't remember where I've seen them before. I'm also one of those people that gets pissed when movie previews use music from OTHER movies. Get your own!!!! :p )

Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen - these are from the 1984 lyrics. Several versions of the lyrics have been published by Leonard. These are the ones I like the best.

The music almost takes me to my knees and tears start to flow. But then I have long been a sucker for his music. It has been used in several movies and a West Wing TV show and has been covered by a bunch of artists.

I'm pretty sure that's just symbolic, particularly recalling Samson.

Anyway, Rape Me by Nirvana comes to mind but I can't find the lyrics right now.

I am a big Depeche Mode fan. A couple of their songs have some BDSM themes but I think the best one they're known for is "Master and Servant":

There's a new game
We like to play you see
A game with added reality
You treat me like a dog
Get me down on my knees

We call it master and servant
We call it master and servant

It's a lot like life
This play between the sheets
With you on top and me underneath
Forget all about equality

Let's play master and servant
Let's play master and servant

It's a lot like life
And that's what's appealing
If you despise that throwaway feeling
From disposable fun
Then this is the one

Domination's the name of the game
In bed or in life
They're both just the same
Except in one you're fulfilled
At the end of the day

Let's play master and servant
Let's play master and servant

Let's play master and servant
Come on master and servant

Ohhhhhh Shank you just made me cry........ really ........Cohen hmmmn .........this was a song and a time for me

Suzanne takes you down to her place newer the river
You can hear the boats go by
You can spend the night beside her
And you know that she’s half crazy
But that’s why you want to be there
And she feeds you tea and oranges
That come all the way from china
And just when you mean to tell her
That you have no love to give her
Then she gets you on her wavelength
And she lets the river answer
That you’ve always been her lover
And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that she will trust you
For you’ve touched her perfect body with your mind.

And jesus was a sailor
When he walked upon the water
And he spent a long time watching
From his lonely wooden tower
And when he knew for certain
Only drowning men could see him
He said ’all men will be sailors then
Until the sea shall free them’
But he himself was broken
Long before the sky would open
Forsaken, almost human
He sank beneath your wisdom like a stone
And you want to travel with him
And you want to travel blind
And you think maybe you’ll trust him
For he’s touched your perfect body with his mind.

Now suzanne takes you hand
And she leads you to the river
She is wearing rags and feathers
From salvation army counters
And the sun pours down like honey
On our lady of the harbour
And she shows you where to look
Among the garbage and the flowers
There are heroes in the seaweed
There are children in the morning
They are leaning out for love
And they will lean that way forever
While suzanne holds the mirror
And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that she will trust you
For she’s touched your perfect body with her mind.

Actually in Cohen there is much that could be considered appropriate for the topic at hand . Heavy on the soul though my friend......... :rose:

More Leonard

I'm Your Man..

If you want a lover
I'll do anything you ask me to
And if you want another kind of love
I'll wear a mask for you
If you want a partner
Take my hand
Or if you want to strike me down in anger
Here I stand
I'm your man
If you want a boxer
I will step into the ring for you
And if you want a doctor
I'll examine every inch of you
If you want a driver
Climb inside
Or if you want to take me for a ride
You know you can
I'm your man

Ah, the moon's too bright
The chain's too tight
The beast won't go to sleep
I've been running through these promises to you
That I made and I could not keep
Ah but a man never got a woman back
Not by begging on his knees
Or I'd crawl to you baby
And I'd fall at your feet
And I'd howl at your beauty
Like a dog in heat
And I'd claw at your heart
And I'd tear at your sheet
I'd say please, please
I'm your man

And if you've got to sleep
A moment on the road
I will steer for you
And if you want to work the street alone
I'll disappear for you
If you want a father for your child
Or only want to walk with me a while
Across the sand
I'm your man

If you want a lover
I'll do anything you ask me to
And if you want another kind of love
I'll wear a mask for you

Leonard still puts me to the floor. I love his music so much, so very much.

I even have had two different friends bring me tea and oranges when they returned from trips to China.

I actually did not care for Master and Servant all that much.

My favorite, melt-your-brain, take-me-somewhere-else Depeche song is In Your Room. Everything about it from the words to the sound to the rhythym just makes me think of sex.. mmmmmm.

so much more than a 'title'.......

awww Sir Shank.........hugs you........exhalesssss.......I seem to have come over quite melancholy recalling all this music after so many years now. I call it 'the price'........perhaps I'll explain that in a pm some time when I am up to it. Love the Journey but sometimes the price..........

Master ~ Cohen

I believe that you heard your master sing
when I was sick in bed.
I suppose that he told you everything
that I keep locked away in my head.
Your master took you travelling,
well at least that's what you said.
And now do you come back to bring
your prisoner wine and bread?
You met him at some temple, where
they take your clothes at the door.
He was just a numberless man in a chair
who'd just come back from the war.
And you wrap up his tired face in your hair
and he hands you the apple core.
Then he touches your lips now so suddenly bare
of all the kisses we put on some time before.
And he gave you a German Shepherd to walk
with a collar of leather and nails,
and he never once made you explain or talk
about all of the little details,
such as who had a word and who had a rock,
and who had you through the mails.
Now your love is a secret all over the block,
and it never stops not even when your master fails.
And he took you up in his aeroplane,
which he flew without any hands,
and you cruised above the ribbons of rain
that drove the crowd from the stands.
Then he killed the lights in a lonely Lane
and, an ape with angel glands,
erased the final wisps of pain
with the music of rubber bands.
And now I hear your master sing,
you kneel for him to come.
His body is a golden string
that your body is hanging from.
His body is a golden string,
my body has grown numb.
Oh now you hear your master sing,
your shirt is all undone.
And will you kneel beside this bed
that we polished so long ago,
before your master chose instead
to make my bed of snow?
Your eyes are wild and your knuckles are red
and you're speaking far too low.
No I can't make out what your master said
before he made you go.
Then I think you're playing far too rough
for a lady who's been to the moon;
I've lain by this window long enough
to get used to an empty room.
And your love is some dust in an old man's cough
who is tapping his foot to a tune,
and your thighs are a ruin, you want too much,
let's say you came back some time too soon.
I loved your master perfectly
I taught him all that he knew.
He was starving in some deep mystery
like a man who is sure what is true.
And I sent you to him with my guarantee
I could teach him something new,
and I taught him how you would long for me
no matter what he said no matter what you'd do.
I believe that you heard your master sing
while I was sick in bed,
I'm sure that he told you everything

I must keep locked away in my head.
Your master took you travelling,
well at least that's what you said,
And now do you come back to bring
your prisoner wine and bread?

Master and Servant isn't necessarily my favorite song of theirs but it fit the theme of the thread perfectly.

True, true! :)

It wound up on my iPod not all that long ago when I loaded a whole bunch of stuff onto it; I said "well, I don't really know the names of that many Depeche songs, so I'll just pick and choose a bunch of random stuff!" and it was on there for a good four months. It -is- a good song! :)

......Duran Duran

Darken the city, night is a wire
Steam in the subway, earth is a afire
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo
Woman, you want me, give me a sign
And catch my breathing even closer behind
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo

In touch with the ground
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
Smell like I sound, I'm lost in a crowd
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Straddle the line in discord and rhyme
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
Mouth is alive with juices like wine
And I'm hungry like the wolf

Stalked in the forest, too close to hide
I'll be upon you by the moonlight side
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo
High blood drumming on your skin, it's so tight
You feel my heart, I'm just a moment behind
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo

In touch with the ground
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
Scent and a sound, I'm lost and I'm found
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Strut on a line, it's discord and rhyme
I howl and I whine, I'm after you
Mouth is alive, al lrunning inside
And i'm hungry like the wolf

Hungry like the wolf
Hungry like the wolf
Hungry like the wolf

Burning the ground, I break from the crowd
I'm on the hunt, I'm after you
I smell like I sound, I'm lost and I'm found
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Strut on a line, it's discord and rhyme
I'm on the hunt, I'm after you
Mouth is alive with juices like wine
And I'm hungry like the wolf

Godsmack~Whatever

....

I don't need to fantasize
You are my pet all the time
I don't mind if you go blind
You get what you get
Until you're through with my life

.....

A version of that song is on the shreck soundtrack by Rufus Wainwright

I personally still think of control as a little bit like that... but the lycis are distinctly about relationship woes... still it SOUNDS like it could eb hot if you don't think about it.

I love the way you look at me
I feel the pain you place inside
Lock me up inside ya dirty cage
While I’m alone inside my mind

I like to teach you all the rules
I’d get to see them set in stone
I like it when you chain me to the bed
There ya secrets never shone

[chorus]
I need to feel you
You need to feel me
I can’t control you
You’re not the one for me, no

I can’t control you
You can’t control me
I need to feel you
So why’s it involve

I love the way you rape my skin
I feel the hate you place inside
I need to get your voice out of my head
Cause I’m the guy you’ll never find

I’m faking all of the rules
There’s no expressions on your face
I’m hoping some day you will let me go
Release me from my dirty cage

[chorus]
I need to feel you
You need to feel me
I can’t control you
You’re not the one for me, no

I can’t control you
You can’t control me
I need to feel you
So why’s it involve...you and me..

[repeat 4x]
I love the way you look at me
I love the way you smack my ass
I love the dirty things you do
I have control of you

[chorus]
I need to feel you
You need to feel me
I can’t control you
You’re not the one for me, no

I can’t control you
You can’t control me
I need to feel you
So why’s it involve you and me..

[repeat 4x]
You’re not the one for me, no

THERE we go, that'll do it. :D I knew I'd heard it somewhat recently. I just narrowed it down a bit to things I've seen for ya. :D

I like finding BDSM lyrics in unlikely places. Here's some from Manhattan Transfer ...

Come here and don't look back -
Meet me at the end
of the cul-de-sac
Come on! Stand up at attention
and I'll do the same
Hey there tiger,
now don't you be ashamed

Life has a way of destroying our
sense of child's play
But under my wing you'll be
back in the pink
Drunk without a drink

Tunnel down in soft silk and satin
Let your backbone roll to the
rumble of the drum
Make believe it's midnite
in Manhattan
10 minutes till the savages come

Sigmund Freud himself
Wouldn't have needed to worry
If his hands were tied by me
There's no neurosis that this
doctor can't diagnose
I'll find the monster and
deliver a lethal dose

Life has a way of destroying
our sense of child's play
But under my wing you'll be
back in the pink
Drunk without a drink
