Ah, even some of us who are 24/7 do not care to be involved in the scene. As to sites, there are good and bad in all of them. Screen carefully, talk to people online until you feel some level of honesty is involved, and keep an open mind. It isn't easy to find someone who fits, but then, most things worth having ever are.

In the UK, Informed Consent is the place to go. There's also Collare Me, which has a fair number of UK members - but from the community point of view and, I think, for contacts, Informed Consent is better.

There are loads of us on Fetlife who aren't lifestyle, 24/7, scene, whatever you want to call it. I've found loads of 'normal' people, it's a refreshing change tbh!

I only ever had eejits on Collarme, but then I was probably unlucky, a lot of people say it's great. IC seems to be very up itself - but then, both of those are more 'dating' sites than Fetlife, certainly. Good luck.

I don't see any connection between how much you put into BDSM and whether or not you're "scene".
