Okay, y'all - here we go!

Please list the team you expect to win for each game. No tie picks, please - any tie games will be a wash. If possible, please list team names as listed below; otherwise, my picks program gets confused and I have to un-confuzzle it. Thanks!

Periodic standings reports may or may not appear after the early Sunday games, before or after Sunday evening's game(s), or before Monday's game(s). Depends on how much time I have, and how poorly I'm doing in the pool ;)

You chug that Cassel Kool-Aid.
This early in the season, there's no telling *what* might happen, and if one has to go "against the grain" of conventional wisdom, picking Balto to prepare and play sloppily because they underestimate another team early on is not necessarily a foolish move. The Ravens have made that mistake before...

KC going down was one of my firmer picks.

Of course, it's all just a crapshoot. I remember one survivor pool I was on, two-thirds of us got eliminated in one week, all picking what looked like the surest bet of the week.

That taught me a very important lesson- don't pick against the home team in a division rivalry.

The Dirty Birds are on tv. Won't happen much since I don't get Atlanta stations on the dish. Hope I do better than I did on college. I did the the Vols losing right.

Okay, then!

With 10 of 16 games completed,

D2, DD, MS, Nax, WD - 8
ZRT - 7
ES, HG - 6
SG, YK - 5
SW - 4

Eep!

I think I missed 2 of the early games. Not too bad. Stafford had a horrid day. He'll be on the bench with another one like that. He did the same thing at Georgia early. Big jump up to the pros. But 3 interceptions and no touchdowns?

Well, my hometown pick for the Texans went awry, but I honestly expected the Jets to be in disarray.

But GO NINERS. Fuck the Cardinals and their 'swept the NFC West last season' shit, it's a new year, baby.

...new year where the Niners will probably still mostly suck, but if they hammer the fucking Rams a couple of times, I'll be happy.
