For me, I do not use any drugs or booze in scene at all because they can screw up all three parts of SSC.

I'll be honest ... I'd be willing to try it, with the X at least ... but only with my Master, whom I trust implicitly. However, that being said, my Master being professionally what He is would never consider such a thing, much less allow it to happen. I'm assuming you're talking about hallucinogens?

I don't know what your experience is with these kinds of drugs, but I want to say that this is NOT a good idea.

I'm no Nancy Reagan, but I do know that it can be hard enough making sure you don't have a bad trip without intentionally trying to go there. There is nothing fun or sexy about a bad trip and I imagine it might make certain areas of play difficult in the future.

Drugs and fear do not mix in my opinion, no way, no how, not at all.

Drugs and affection, well, that's a different story.

Like Shankara and Marquis said, it is not fun or sexy or safe, and frankly I can get enough of a natural high with and without play to not need to fuck myself up with drugs. There is talent in conducting a scene to achieve whatever result you want, including earth shattering terror, and if you use drugs it seems it is just a prop for not being able to or wanting to do it yourself. I'm sure you would find plenty who would jump at the chance though because there are a lot of gullible victims out there who will believe whatever you tell them is good for them.

now dont get me wrong, between two ppl who want this scenario Betticus described, that also perferrably had prior experience with the drug so they want to expect there (insert disclaimer about poss. not knowing what to expect on x here) this could be hot for them
but not for me
because

This is basically what I was trying to imply. Producing a scene that gives you a high that far outcedes any drugs. I searched for that ultimate high early in my life using drugs. But I have come across some of the most fantastic highs I have ever incurred in sceneplay. The natural high of subspace I've found is the best!
