Les McKeown died of a "heavy heart".

The Bay City Rollers frontman passed away suddenly in April, aged 65, and a coroner's report has revealed the music legend died of a "combination of natural causes", including heart disease, and the long-term effects of excessive drug and alcohol use.

I wasn't aware of the fact that he had passed away, until I saw this in the headlines today

Bloody hell, this is old news isn't it? Keep up. For Americans, the Bay City Rollers were arguably the naffest band of the 70's; somehow they became teenpop idols though they weren't very good or very pretty. But it seems most of their lives they were fighting for money that never came their way as their manager, a homosexual predator, was either an inept businessman or a crook. Whatever, Les was a heavy smoker, drinker and yeah drug taker, so was miracle he lived 'til 65. But RIP mate, you deserved better

I quoted the article, I didn't write it.

In addition, the death might have been old, but the article was new

no worries.

glad you didnt mention the Rubettes or showaddywaddy.
