Looking outside I can see it getting colder and grayer and far too quiet. Summer is gone. No more open toed shoes and tank tops. It's time for bundling up and finding ways to battle the winter blues. The Cape is cold and lonely now that the summer women have gone. There are so many ancient warming techniques....what are yours? I have learned that some candles and a bottle of wine along with the proper company can create a formidable foe for any nor'easter. I konw that there are some beautiful women around that can heat up any room they walk into. Now is the time ladies, now is the time. Not only do I have a wonderful sense of humor, but I also do dishes if I'm cooked for AND I will shovel a driveway for very little in exchange. I know that there is someone who is perfectly willing to run a bath a poor a beer for me after a long afternoon of watching the snowfall and steaming up the windows with some serious love making. What will you do this winter? Allow me to help....

Damn....that almost makes winter sound appetizing...the only thing that could top that would be hot chocolate by a fire after a day of making snow angels.

Interesting post! I'm wondering if I should start a similar one on a summer theme for us southern hemisphere types... It's hot and the air is wet today... and guess what? it's only going to get worse... *sighs*

Guttergoddess, don't forget the warmed baby oil and a massage table. I have strong hands, and I know what to do with them...

And Yakkul, hot and wet isn't always a bad thing, especially with the right company, hmm?

Oh no arguments here old boy, but when all you have for company is a computer, "hot and wet" is definately not a fun thing.

I guess I'm the only one who prefers massages to get rid of tension vs sensual ones.....but if you can get rid of the knots......

Full service...to remove tension, and then build tension, and then remove tension...I guess as long as my hands have energy, the cycle can continue...

I am definitely doing something wrong here. I cook, do the dishes AND shovel the driveway! LOL

Seriously though, there are special lights that are supposed to help with SAD. I am thinking of investing in one myself--I tend to feel down in the winter too.

The early darkness this year has certainly seemed to be setting the stage for a descent...got to find a way to level things out.
