Battlestar Galactica (or something similar)

I'm thinking about starting an ORP about that, but not sure if there would be anyone interested in "space battles with human-like aliens"?

I was thinking about the "2003 reimagining" one, but as I said, I'm open to variations

I haven't made up my mind yet to any particular setting or characters. It could take place at Galactica, or any other ship, in Caprica after or before the attack, or in "Earth" at the end of the series. It could also involve already existing characters or some new if people are interested. As I said I'm open for details. I just wanted to use some well-known sci-fi I like

That could be an interesting number to start.

So, any preliminar ideas? Choice of characters/setting??

One idea I have could be for a Blood and Chrome (the movie they're making now) like scenario. The setting is the 'First Cylon War' and characters would be members of the Twelve Colonies (like a young Adama) together fighting against the Cylons?

As for myself, i would have thought of the times In the fleet during the series. The Cylons could be programmed to take advantage of one of the greatest weaknesses of humans, meaning lust. Taking them on a naughty way and thus gaining some power over the leaders.

Was linked here from SRPs. Didn't realise this was ORPs. Would SRP this definitely but without the sex, I really don't see the fun.
