Any BG fans here?

I was reading through the Sci-Fi thread and it got me to wondering, not always good, but why are the Cylon chicks on Battlestar Gallactica so much sexier than the human girls?

The one that keeps killing herself to learn more about the other cylons and for the rush of being reborn is HOT.

Silly question, I know, but for sci-fi fans, it could be important. LOL.

Do you mean hotter looking or more sexually driven? I guess they would be hotter cause they were created, If you were gonna create a woman, wouldn't you go all out? As for the sexy part, I suppose they're exploring an aspect of themselves they never have and are curious.

Very interesting outlook. But the human looking cylons were created by other cylons. How do they judge what looks good? As machines, why do they need to explore themselves the same way as humans. Interesting thought.

I meant hotter looking because the human women are much more sexually driven.

BTW, isn't it the best show on TV?

I suppose in order to create life, they would have needed some sort of DNA to build from, maybe they just lucked out, but alas we know its for ratings and ratings alone.

They are just trying to understand humans better I suppose. I watch it every week but I don't list it as the best show on tv like some people do, it does have some good things to boast about.

My dad used to bring me whatever weird Sci-Fi book he had just finished reading when I was 6 or 7 'til he died. I guess for that reason, I just love sci-fi. Not like I love compelling art, but there is something simply open about SF that I can't get enough of.

I will read and watch Sci-Fi in my spare time, whenever I can--even if I know it's likely to be bad. I just can't help myself. LOL.

I loved X-Files, TNG, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager. I couldn't get into the most recent ST show but...

I like heroes, and most sci-fi shows, or at least I really want to.

Having said all of that, I do think BG is the best show on TV.
