The raven-haired woman stood on the hilltop in the middle of the bloody and body covered battlefield. The parts of her body which were not covered by her armor, her arms, legs, face, and parts of her upper body, were covered in blood. Her left hand held the flag of her regiment, a Phoenix holding two swords in it's talons, high in the air. In her right hand was her blood covered sword.

The battle had been long and hard, lasting for many days. This woman had led her troops to victory over the neighboring country and she was ready to relax. Her body was sore and her muscles ached.

OOC: The setting is that of medival times. A war has been ravaging for two years now and there isn't really an end in sight as four kings and four queens battle for dominice of the country. I wouldn't mind if others would like join, I would just need three more queens and four kings. Feel free to PM me if you would like to join, or you can jump right in.

"Your victory went well"

- Pesha, the Queen of Icitycle approached her. The young woman seemed to not be a queen at all, after all she looked so young. But that was the gift of her race, they aged differently.

Pesha stood there, holding the brave raven haired warrioress in the highest regards -

Sonya smirks softly for a moment as she plants the flag into the ground before she looks toward Pesha.
"Perhaps, but I lost too many warriors in battle. More are needed to continue this battle. What brings you here? Are you ready to fight now?"

She rips a piece of cloth from one of the fallen warriors and cleans off her sword before re-sheathing it. She was Queen of Macedonia, who were well known for the ability to raise powerful armies and most feared for their dark ways.

"My race is peaceful, I don't have a place in the battlefield"

- Pesha got down on one knee before the warrior queen -

"However, I can aid your troops with my magick and spells if it is your desire"

Sonya nods for a moment as she began to ponder PEsha's words. Her green eyes look down at Pesha's kneeling thoughfully.
"So you are offer me an allience againstthe others? What do I have you will not back down from your offer?"

She places her hands on her hips as she looks down at Pesha, waiting for her answer.

- Pesha looked up at Sonya and smiled warmly as she slowly rose to her feet and extended her hand -

"My word and honor as a queen"

Sonya nods for a moment and reaches out her right hand, taking Pesha's carefully. She shakes Pesha's hand firmly before pulling it away, leaving Pesha's hand bloody.
"Alright. But remember this, if I find out otherwise, you may wake to find a knife in your back one day Queen Pesha."

With that, she moves down the hill towards her tent to clean up. On the field peasents were already going among the dead looting them for any valubles they could find. There wasn't much for the peasents as Sonya's soldiers had finshed the task as they collected their fallen breathern.

"I understand Sonya"

- With that she followed down to the tent, scanning the area -

"Where is your army?"

"Many are tending to the wounded, some getting ready to move out tomorrow, and others are simply resting."

She walked slowly to lead Pesha through the maze of tents. A few of the tent flaps stood open, the cries of hurt soldiers float out as the medical personal tend to them. Songs of victory carried from the many campfires set up by soldiers, and the smell of cooking met filled the air.
Sonya opened the flap of her tent for a moment before looking back to Pesha. Inside three of Sonya's maids were decked out in armor and swords attached to the hips, a hot bath drawn and waiting for their Queen.
"If you do not have a tent to stay in, you are welcome in mine if you do not mind waking before dawn."

- Pesha followed close, easing into the tent -

"My followers are far from here, I came only when I heard of your victory"

- Her eyes widened at the maids and the bath laid out for their queen -

"I wish to stay in yours as long as you will have me"

Sonya smiled for a moment as she saw Pesha's surprised look.
"Then I am honored you are going to stay. And you seem rather surprised by my maids. Why is that?"

She turned back around to face towards the bath and held her arms out, motioning for two of the maids to get her armor off. They moved quickly, their nimble fingers working quickly to unlace the leather armor and then pull out her chainmail shirt, leaving Sonya in a white blouse.

The third maid moved to Pesha and bowed her head.
"May I serve m'lady?"

"Your maids are, very .. "

- Pesha couldn't find the words. She looked even more surprised as the third maid approached her -

"No, no thanks. I'm fine. But Thank you"

"Very what? skilled? Beautiful?"

Sonya glanced over her shoulder for a moment to look at Pesha before she sat down on the stool placed behind her. She lifted her right leght so the maid could pull of her scale legging and leather boot. She set her bare foot down as the maid pulled off her left legging and boot.

She undid the sides of her leather battle thong and stood up, letting it drop into the floor. The maids quickly gathered up her armor pieces and took then outside to cleen the blood off of them. The portions of her skin which was not covered with blood revealed a nice golden tone to her skin, from hours of training in the sun.

The maid curtesied to Pesha for a moment.
"Yes m'lady. Please dall if you do require of anything m'lady."
She turned and hurried over to the tub so she could wash her Mistress.

"Everything"

- Pesha stammered out as she watched the queen being bathed -

Sonya stripped off her blouse and laid it to the side, her medium-sized breasts bouncing a little. She mmed softly as she slipped into the warm bath water, which turned red der by the moment. She leaned forward so that her maid washed her back and chest carefully, her long hair flipped off over her right shoulder.

"Perhaps a warm bath would do you good Queen Pesha, after such a long journey."

'I will have one after you'

- Pesha didn't talk much, in respect for the Queen -

"Then it would be a bit for you to wait on the water to be cleaned and refilled."

Sonya spoke as she leaned back, letting her maid wash her front and alogn her arms. She stood up, the blood-red water running off of her. The two maids came back inside the tent and hung up her armor to dry. One grabbed a black silk robe and held it up so that her Mistress could put it on after she dried off.

Once Sonya was robed and standing beside the small fire, the maids went about cleanign and refilling the tub.

"Why did you make the long journey alone? Were you not afraid of getting robbed?"

"Its not like I am completly helpless Sonya, I do have the gift of the spirits to aid me"

- Pesha remained in the same instance as she took a deep breath -

"Thieves seem aware of this and rarely approach me"

Sonya nodded softly.
"Yes, I know of your people's magic. It is quite powerful and I shall be glad to have it on my side. I believe the bath is ready for you now."

Two of the maids went to Pesha and stood a little bit away from her, awaiting her command for them to undress her while the third stood by the tub of fresh warm water.

- Pesha slipped out of her own clothes, revieling her petite yet elegant body, untouched by any hands but her own. She stepped into the tub and turned to Sonya -

"You are a very respected and feared warrior, it is the least I can do"

"It would be an honor, coming from you Sonya"

- Pesha closed her eyes as she relaxed against the warm waters -

"About 20 minutes west of here"

- She smiled softly from the tub as the maid scrubbed her back -

Can I join?

OOC: I don't do many RPGs but I love reading them and I figured I could use this opportunity to brush up on writing from the male point of view. If you don't mind I'd like to play one of the kings. I can post infrequently at best directly throught the site since I am posting on a public computer but if someone would like to post for me I can be regular via email. PM or email or just reply. Anyway is fine.

IC:
King Derryk Tearsmith of Vaxaan surveyed the battlefield one last time before falling in step with his rearguard and retreating to a safe defensive position. He had been soundly beaten by that warrior wench of a queen and could not understand how it had happened. His forces had greatly outnumbered hers and Vaxaan's renown for technology had given his armoured knights great advantage over her light calvary. He himself had led the initial charge before his squadron had been forced backwards when no reinforcements had arrived. He had added 15 marks to his sword hilt in the first half hour of battle. It was not until a weary and wounded squire rode into his camp that the full reason for his failure was revealed. Evidently Duke Bramyn Ealadrin had betrayed him in vengeance over his father's death. Derryk had been just in slaying the old man after he had insulted his wife and young daughter publicly, but Bramyn's sense of honor was obviously nonexistent. Derryk had needed the heavy calvary support and at a crucial time it had abandoned him. Bramyn would have to pay but Derryk first had to worry about his immediate enemy. His spy within the wench's servants had sent word that she had allied herself with the young witch queen. If they discovered that his forces were almost a fifth of what he had originally entered battle with, he would have no hope of remaining free. He knew that the castles and defenses of his land would keep it safe from any offensive attack without extraordinary numbers, but he himself had foolishly overextended himself into enemy lands. Without supplies and support he would be captured if his weakness was discovered. Derryk flexed his broad shoulders as he strode through the camp, greeting his loyal warriors and soldiers. He knew most of them by name and all of them respected their tall blonde haired king for his justice and sense of honor. If he managed to escape the warrior queens clutches he knew they would be glad to see their families. Now he had to figure out a way to flee silently without revealing the actual depth of his losses.
