I am not aware if any of you have read or heard about the book Battle Royale but its a interest of mine that I'd enjoy being written into. The orignal plot is there are 43 teenagers that are on an island that have to kill each other within a 72 hour period now sure of course they'll be blood and violence but what about having sexual encounters during that time seeing as your going to die anyway. Now its up to you how you do it if you want it to be 72 hours or there is no limit or heck just a bunch of people on an island which leads into them killing each other. I was wondering if I am the only one interested in Battle Royale put into that kind of situation or not.

Actually in the book it was 43 9th year students from Japan so in all reality I doubt it would sell in America as the movie was never released in America to begin with.

I've wanted to see that movie for a long time, but I can't find it anywhere here in the US. I'm a big fan of John Woo's stuff from when he was still in Hong Kong. And the premise for Battle Royale just sounds so awesome. As for sexual encounters, not my idea of a good time, but if you're looking for a movie with sex and murder in an island setting, try Club Dread.

It is available from Greencine. It is an online DVD rental thing like Netflix, except with a lot more interesting movies. They kind of specialize in Asian movies. They only ship out of San Fran, so if you are East Coast it can be a few days lag. They also have main stream movies, B-movies and pornos.
