Bathing Suits

Ugh, bathing suit season. I hate those first few weeks of pasty whiteness....

I go for the two pieces, that cover as much ass as possible. Usually bright pinks, oranges, or reds.


I love those big swimming shorts guys wear. When they're pulled down just far enough that you can see the bottom of their ab muscles.... *Drool*

Oohh, let's see... last suit I bought was a black one-piece, just a basic sort of thing. That was two summers ago; I think I paid about $25 for it on sale somewhere. As if you can't tell, bathing suits aren't a huge priority of mine. I don't think I've even worn the aforementioned black suit, nobody I know has a pool and I've been to a beach twice in my life.

Uh... tangent. Sorry.

And I'm with Wiggles... swim trunks on guys... yum...

I'm a sun worshipper ... mine get smaller and smaller each purchase. I also like the bright solid colors, like lime, orange, red.

I like the boxy baggie suits on men ... just something about speedos that make me giggle

For years I always wore the one piece suit. I was always really self conscious about how my stomach looked. Then last year I said to hell with it and got myself a sporty two piece and a tankini. They're both full bottomed since a thong can get you thrown of the beach (I've actually witnessed this). With me, it's always black since it's my color I know they were both fairly inexpensive (under $40) and bought just last year. I know my partner likes both of them

As for what a guy wears to the beach, no Speedos please! I guess I'm weird but I like seeing my partner in cut offs, a little tight

Who wears em? What kind do you wear? Ladies - do you prefer a one or two-piece suit? Do you wear the really slinky kinds with thong bottoms and high cut legs? Guys - do you prefer Speedos or just a pair of shorts/trunks? Is there any color that you tend to be drawn to season after season? When was the last time you bought a new suit? Do you remember how much you paid? Ladies - what type of suit do you like to see your man in? Guys - what type of suit do you like to see your woman in (and be realistic here!)?

I live in Newport Beach, CALI so the beach is a 365 day season for me. I have more bathing suits than Imelda Marcos has shoes. I wear "Volley shorts" when I'm playing beach volleyball. Redsand mostly, brighter colors. I swim alot in the ocean out past the surf.......and when I swim I wear a Speedo (yeah yeah I know "most' hate that look....but........at least they look good on me). When I"m surfing........long shorts........

OK Wiggles just because..........YES the "abs" are tight and tan.......

There is a little cove nearby that I go to. Many thongs which I like... A few topless that are looking for the overall tan which I also like... A few that look like their thong is on backwards which brings me to my answer.... Nude bathing is fun. You just have to start early in life. When it's frowned upon then I wear boxer trunks but I cut the lining out. The breeze is great and female voyeurs are easier to spot. The beach is full of different personalities---you just have to keep your eyes open.

I'm amazed at the people who attempt to pull off that look.

That being said, I'm no model either....and I'm whiter than Casper drinking a vanilla milkshake.......but I know my limits. LOL

No, really, it's cute.. I wish I had a skinny midsection to get away with wearing something like that.

For me, I wore jeans all last summer.. it's was horrible. No shorts will ever adorn this body 'o mine unless it's about half it's current size.

When I was skinnier, my favorite suit was a black bikini w/ a full butt.. and the top had 2 spaghetti-like strings that tied around the neck. It had 2 daisies on the left, um.. cup.


Summer is my favorite season

No, really, it's cute.. I wish I had a skinny midsection to get away with wearing something like that.

My midsection's okay-ly skinny. It's the bit above my midsection that could be a little less skinny, if you get my drift. hehe. Depressing to see 14-year-olds wearing bigger cup sizes than me. Ah well. Every couple years, I buy a bikini, I wear it twice, and it sits in my drawer.

I don't know you from Adam...(or Eve, in this case..lol), but I'm sure that you have nothing to worry about.

Truth be told, I could never understand why women would be uneasy about having a smaller cup size. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but as a man....I find women with smaller breasts sooooooo much more erotic than the "norm" in our silicone-enhanced, 'size-matters' society nowadays.

I've never....ever....seen someone in speedos that I've not either laughed at openly or in some other way mocked.

Two quick points. First, I played water polo in college.........we wore speedo's...........I NEVER remember anyone male or female laughing............a few with glazed eyes perhaps...but not laughter

Secondly, when I swim in the ocean.........a speedo has less 'drag' than board shorts or boxer length.

I also spend a few weeks each summer in Juan Les Pin.......most of the "Euro's' wear speedo's..........I do also.....but only while still swimming......

I never said that a speedo doesn't have it's merits....and I'm sure the 'less drag' thing is one of them.

What I am saying is....they just aren't flattering. lol....and, unfortunately....most everyone that I've ever seen in one tend to be the type of person who should stay covered up. (And...I'd be one of those people who should stay covered up!~)

Nonetheless...if it'll make you feel any better....if you have any upcoming water polo reunions soon, I'll be glad to show up and giggle from the bleachers.
