Not that I am defending them or condoning their use, but it appears that we have another case of bad political science driven by the lazy, lames and uniformed (maybe uneducated) media.

I was just talking to the Queen about it, and she said, of course, you cannot detect them, that's medicine. But it is clearly stated that you need to send samples to a lab and one doctor saying that if the patient comes up negative for everything, then bath salts are an assumption.
I find this to be very interesting. It is amazing how quickly conjecture becomes something that "everyone knows" and "settled science."
