And whether people like it or not, there's different degrees of cheating.
Stealing signs isn't as bad as scuffing the ball, which isn't as bad as corking your bat, which isn't as bad as taking human growth hormone to the point you wear a size 14 hat.
I don't consider stealing signs cheating at all--it's merely using mental prowess to gain an advantage. However, I see no difference in degrees of cheating between scuffing a ball and corking a bat.
