A friend and I were at dinner last weekend and we observed a couple at a table near ours playing footsie with each other. The woman had removed one shoe and was rubbing her foot up the man's leg and various other places that made both of them both laugh. My friend and I had no doubt that they would be having sex very soon after leaving the restaurant.
That led our conversation to the lack of foot ware and it's implications on sexuality. Back in my college days, I can remember having conversations about the slut factor of women who walked around in public places without shoes. I also seem to remember a prof saying something along the lines of women who remove their shoes in inappropriate places, i.e. restaurants, libraries, classrooms, do so because they wish they could be naked but can't because of social norms so instead they just remove their shoes. This is not to say that there are not occasions when anyone could be forced to remove their shoes, but the people I'm referring to flaunt what they've done instead of ignoring it.
So what do you think?
(this is an essay question and extra points will be given if you tell whether you've ever done it)
