Banned 08/03/25

I did message Velle about a ban that they gave me today. A case of a missclick into a room. One that as soon as it was pointed out by another, what the room was about, I quickly left.

Around 10 minutes later I got booted from the chat and have been unable to return. I had an old username I had asked to be deleted that is yet to be deleted and so managed to get into chat where I PM'd Ditzy who I have spoken to many times in the past. The pointed me to Velle who had been doing the banning.

I sent several messages to Velle and explained it had been a mistake, I never spoke in the room and when I realized what it was about, I quickly left said room. Ditzy even said they would give me a character reference as I come to them very frequently with those who break the rules of chat.

I have attached a screenshot of the messages I sent to Velle but they logged out without responding to me.

Ditzy suggested I post it here in the hopes of having my ban lifted. I was in the middle of chats and sadly made a mistake I quickly rectified and am now being punished for. And when I raised the issue, I was ignored, please can this be looked into.

This is a screenshot of the chat log with Velle, please feel free to contact Ditzy and EarthWolf both of who I deal with regularly in chat and go to them with issues, they are brilliant and helpful.

Just to add, my username that was banned is BouncyJigglyGemz - the BouncyGemz one is a username I had requested be deleted upon creating the BJG one.

Imagine being so stupid as to publicly admit to ban evasion on the forums.

No as you can see above, the other profile, I requested to be deleted and it hadn't been. No evasion. Still happy for it to be deleted.

Understood. I will remove the other account when I may. You'll understand, I think, that we cannot particularly afford to look at participation in the room you were in, passively or not, as a simple mistake to be handwaved. I have no issue with your feeling comfortable with this or that mod. Your ban was not inappropriate, and while I respect your claim that this was somehow a mistake, I am not prepared to hand wave it given the subject matter. I have no plan to reverse your ban at this time.
