After Britney Spears went cuckoo and cut off all her hair, a web site sponsored a contest to give away some money for videos of people (women especially) cutting off all their hair. This video was one of the winners.

The girl in the video is hot and I LOVE the way she strokes her head as she's shaving. It's so damned erotic watching her do that.

I'd really like to see more women with shaved heads. Don't assume that I would get wood for every bald head I see (any more than I think that every woman should have long, dark hair), but I do think that a lot of women would look sexy with a cleanly shaved melon.

One of my biggest pet peeves is doing something because a celeberity does it or the most popular person in school does it.

Why can't people just be themselves?

I thought Demi Moore looked good when she shaved her head and Natalie Portman. I don't think all women can pull off the bald look though.

I'm not going to comment on the girl in the video.

How do you know that there aren't a million girls who want to shave their heads but haven't done so because society deems it too extreme or masculine? Maybe these women are only looking for an excuse to do what they've always wanted to do. Maybe the celebrities who pull off crazy stunts like this actually open the door to a world free of the stigma of a shaved head.

I agree that not all women should cut off all their hair as some people just don't have a good head for it. Just like men, I'm sure some bald women look hot and others look like serial killers. Hair styles and clothing are the same way, just as all fashions are not meant for all bodies. (Unfortunately, too many women think that they can pull off the mini-skirt-and-crop-top look, but only a handful can make it work.)

Don't assume that all women and girls who now shave their heads are doing it only because Britney did it.

Seems no one can think for themselves anymore.

I like how you make your point about free-thinking by chiming in with an opinion that has been suggested a million times before. Way to go!

You are right when you put it this way. I have had two friend die of cancer lately who lost/shaved their heads in order to lose those few remaining tuffs. I was reminded of them when you posted.

That's exactly my point. If they wanted to shave their heads before Britney did then they shouldn't have cared what stupid society thought.

Did the singer Sinead O'Conner give a damn what society thought when she shaved her head? Did Modonna give a damn that she started dressing funky before that style became in style by her?

I think people need to start thinking for themselves and not worry about what stupid society thinks. If someone wanted to shave their head before Britney Spears went psychotic and shaved her head they should have done it when they wanted to.

You apparently didn't noticed bald women until Britney shaved her head. So because Britney does it you suddenly have to find it sexy? Because Justin Timberlake does something us women have to find it sexy? It seems like society is based on Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Justn Timberlake, Brad Pitt and a few others who are consider sexy by society.

I'm me. I'm not going to suddenly shave my head because Britney does, go adopt an African baby because Angelina does, or find baggy pants sexy because Justin Timberlake wears them.

Well cancer is something totally different. They don't shave their heads for a fashion statement.

I have no idea where you came up with this statement. How could you possibly know what I was thinking before Britney shaved her head? Are you psychic? Can you tell me what I'm thinking right this minute? I'll bet you can guess.

Sorry but I don't find bald ladies sexxie. Unfortunately most of them have cancer, or lukemia and have undergone radiation treatments and chemotherapy. And I say prayers for them.

Well, I'm sure that those women will be very glad to hear that they are no longer sexy just because they've undergone medical treatment. What are your prayers for? Are you asking god to spare their lives so they can go home to the husbands who don't find them sexy anymore? You know, 'cause of their ugly bald heads and all that icky chemotherapy.

Careful CJ ... Ekserb is a rough one.

Just a friendly warning

:D

Let her find out for herself! Just because you don't like me anymore doesn't mean you have to ruin my fun.

My theory is that Britney watched The Wall and it got to her.

Wow. Do you think she even knows what The Wall is? Even I was only 14 when it was released. She was 1, I think.

There are these newfangled DVD things.

She's around my age, but I've still seen it, um, a lot.

A particularly banal reply, which perhaps should not have been written.

What if "being themselves" happens to be something a celebrity has already done?
It just got screwed by the reputation of the famous person.

There are so many people on the planet, you can be yourself all you want (and I am a Self Advocate, said Captain Obvious), but eventually you're gonna run into The Same Thing. Because we're similarly wired.
Not that I disagree with the essence of what you're saying, but for myself, I look more at people's motives. If you want to follow the crowd, then follow the crowd, but own it, dammit. Or else soldier the fuck up, be whatever you want to be and then own that.

I've actually been wanting to shave my head for a number of years now, but for various reasons, I haven't yet. If I do it now, people are going to say, "Look what that idiot did, just because of Britney Spears!"
Piss.

Anyway, we can't deny Ekserb his new-found eroticisms...

Stroke away, my friend.
Perhaps David Gilmour joins you in this new fixation.
(And if he does, let us hope he is being himself...)
