Sure sure, we've all got good ideas, but what are some of the dumber ones we've had? Personally, I found the random thought of a Nancy Drew story rather funny the other day-

?

whos that ?

i think harry potter is a really bad idea. as are most of the celeb storys.. though there afew ok ones..

Oh my lord MrFrost, did you just ask who Nancy Drew was?

I'm praying that it's only because you're a boy, otherwise you just succeeded in making me feel old.

Hey now!

I know who Nancy Drew is, and I'm a baby compared to some people on here!

I think it might just be a gender-specific thing or something...

Haha believe me I understand about feeling young, I just had a 20th birthday not a month ago!! And I know who Nancy Drew is.. maybe MrFrost just read Hardy Boys or whatever it was boys read.

The Hite Report. It screwed me up for life.

I once read the stupidest story on Black Spectre. It concerned totally humiliating a retarded girl. The author wrote of urinating on the child, masturbating on her, and having her perform oral sex.

With stupid shit like that, it's no wonder the site shut down last year.

I'm extra-super-glad that Lit doesn't have those kinds of stories hidden about...I can read through a list of stories and know I'm not going to come across anything horrible such as mentioned above.

The characters and authors' names of both the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew are just properties of the publisher. Around 1990, when I was ten or so, they seem to have come out with some modernized, updated Hardy Boys books. I remember reading one, and enjoying it, at that age (10 or so). As far as I know, the publisher still hires authors to update both series from time to time.

You see, I just assumed that everyone (the males) who knew the Hardy Boys knew Nancy Drew, probably because, when I was a kid, there was a long line or Hardy Boys books on one shelf, and an equally long line of Nancy Drew books (all numbered) on the shelf beneath, at our town library. They weren't in the kids room, exactly. They were sort of in the entryway between the children's room and the Young Adult books, just outside, in the main room. You kind of felt like it was symbolic, in some way, when you started rooting through that shelf. I dunno-

I dont think we should bagg anyone elses ideas.
People have a right to like what they like and request a story.
The only thing i will speak up about is how people post a million threads to suggest story ideas about basically the same thing.
