It seams to me that a lot of the things that we as a society profess to be immoral, wrong, or taboo are actually quite common place. I was always a bit naive in high school, didn't get to know many people, kind of kept to myself. College has been a real eye opener.
You see, it seems to me that there's alot more going on than we as a society would like to admit. So many behaviours we consider abberant are almost commonplace, and certainly not rare. Group sex, same sex. Yes, even that horror of horrors, incest(hell, especially incest). The more people I meet and get to know, the more I become convinced of this. It seams the young folk love the thrill of the forbidden. And no, I don't go to school in Mississippi or or Arkansas, so you can save your predictable "redneck" cracks.
These are the good kids, the catholic girls, the kids that do their homework and go to chearleader practice. It's realy been quite shocking, and I must say my head is still spinning from this revelation, but it's getting to the point that I can't deny it anymore.
So what about it? Am I going crazy? Have I just got an uncommon knack for befriending closet freaks? I'd like to know what other people think. Sometimes I think all our lofty morals are just a means of making sex more thrilling. Probably a stupid theory, but I'm just trying to make sense of the rest of the human race, something which has become difficult lately.
By the way, I'm actually one of the straightests people you will ever meet, conservative to the core. I myself haven't actually participated in any of behaviours of which I speak, though I'm considering it. That's why I'm here talking about it on this board, under conditions of anonymity. I'd like to get the thoughts of some people I don't know, and as you can imagine it's a difficult subject to bring up with strangers or mere acquantinces.
