Provincial Paradise cast call and reservation desk

Kat is opening a new pension in provence...
see ....Paradise Pension

Bookings will be by reservation only and couples must book together. Each couple may only stay one weekend and if they want to revisit Paradise they need a new partner. The staff may not have permanent liasons with each other but the odd fumble is encouraged....
Guests are encouraged to *um* ask for help from the staff....
Bookings will open as soon as the staff is assembled and the Pension is ready.... A new thread will be opened for the Pension, this is the casting and reservations desk.

To see how Paradise looks, pls visit
Hostellerie de Crillon le Brave This is a real hotel in Provence that was suddenly built after someone read the Paradise thread.... *grin*
no seriously it's an amazing place and where I based my dreams of Paradise on.

The object of the thread is to go into the sensuality of everything, surroundings, food, drink, people we interact with.... everything becomes erotic under the Provence sky... erotic need not mean sex but the erotic pleasure we derive from things....
Sex of course is encouraged but permanent pairing off is not the object, in fact it is exactly what I want to avoid.... come with your partner but expect to come with others too *grin* during your weekend of physical, gastronomical and atmospherical pleasure...

I get to be the singer, right? Pick me, PICK ME!!!

I'm going to need a marvelous accompanist, you know.

Bonsoir madame conceirge, I am Raymond and hopefully I'll be your waiter this evening... ;)

Although I can also mix a mean cocktail in the bar when the restaurant is closed. I am, of course, available to bring snacks and drinks to rooms during off hours.

Raymond....oh

Welcome to our new slice of paradise..... please pick out a uniform that you will feel most comfortable in or out of and go and introduce yourself on Paradise Pension
great to have you with us and remember I do love a nice glass of pinot noir and a choccie before bed.

Hmm, I heard there are auditions for someone who can tickle the ivories(as well as other things ;) )? Allow me to introduce myself, I am Samuel Fairchilde. My repoirtoir ranges from Beethoven( 'Fur Elise' is quite possibly the lovliest piano piece ever writen, in my opinion) to Thelonius Monk, to more modern pieces as well. As for my resume, I studied at Julliard in New York, after school performing in various jazz clubs in NY and Chicago. I have sent you a CD recording of myself in hopes of securing an audition.

Sincerely,
Samuel Fairchilde

Dear Mr. Fairchilde,
I have received your audition CD and would be delighted to meet with you at your convenience, any afternoon this week. Your background is perfectly appropriate, and your inquiry regarding the accompanist job is appreciated. Please consider yourself just this side of hired.

Sincerely,
Melody

Mlle Melody,
Any afternoon would be more than convenient. I ask only this, shall I arrive at the Paradise itself for said audition?

Humbly yours,
Samuel

oooh a man of words and wine..... Kat's last post had her wishing for

Also a sommelier with a deep knowledge for fine wines was needed. Kat chattered on telling Melody how she had once heard of this sommelier who could judge exactly the sexual state of his guest and match a wine that would round off the pleasure. If only she could find someone like that.... he didn't have to be French, he just had to be able to fuel desires.... with the nectar of the gods.... and whatever else crossed his mind.

should give you a lot of dibs to dab..... welcome.....

Sam is looking for employment

Dear Miss Kat,
I understand you are looking for a chambermaid. My name is Samantha Heath and I am 22, on a travelling work permit from the UK. I am desperately looking for work as I have run out of funds and need to earn some more!
I have to be honest and say that I have little chambermaiding experience, erm well none to be honest. But I am a willing worker and can turn my hand to most things. Please consider me for the job. I would be most greatful.
Yours sincerely,
Sam Heath.

tour

LM, may I suggest you place the link for the virtual tour in this thread as well, it really helped me understand the environment I was playing in. I encourage all players and readers to go there, it's lovely in it's own right.

Lucien Jeunet

Ma cher Madame,

Among the finest establishments in Paris, chefs are hired by reputation alone. While mine may proceed me in my native city of Orléans, it is not as well known yet in Paris, and certainly not in your beautiful region of Provence.

Growing up in Orléans, my family hosted our local truffle festival each spring, and a cheese festival in the autumn. In addition, my father owned a reputable restaurant on the centrally located Rue Manger, and taught me all I knew before my departure for Paris at the age of 19.

I attended culinary school in Paris, and shortly thereafter was hired to assist the great Chef Marc Caro, who was at that time running Heléne. At the age of 24, I became the assistant to Mssr. Rene Bretodeau at the Hotel Côstes in the Rue du Saint Honoré. Due to his unfortunate passing six months later, I was forced to fill his unprecedented shoes, which I admittedly failed to do at first, but have grown into with an honorable degree of success (to the chagrin of my critics, who prefered to mock failure but must now give reticent praise).

I tell you my life story for one reason: I long to escape the pomp and pretense of the city, and the haute couture of the Parisian palette. I want to cook once again for those who savor great tastes because of the meaning those tastes hold. To cook foods of simple elegance and international comfort. To cook for cooking's sake.

If you seek someone of my culinary background and personal disposition, please write to me at the address given. I have seen the photos of your stunning property in your advertisement, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve you, your guests, and my fellow staff the finest food the earth can put forth for my hands to conjur.

Avec les égards gentils,

Mssr. Lucien Jeunet
Chef, Hotel Côstes

aaaah food at last

Dear Mssr. Lucien Jeunet
for goodness sake hurry.... I think I'm going to starve on this diet of kisses, grapes, wine and *erm* oral sex....
need multi-textured sustinence fast.... *grin*

Come on down to Paradise, introduce yourself and light up the stoves...

Dearest Ms. Kat;

It has come to my attention that you will be opening a pension in the French countryside and I am writing to request employment. Attached you will find my resume and while I have no exact hotel experience, you will find me to be a very tenacious learner. It is my understanding you have several positions yet to be filled, my interest lies with the front desk position, shall we call it a concierge or is that too official a title? Regardless, I will await your reply before making my travel plans. All the best to you in your new endeavor;

Angelique
