I know the whole babysitter genre has been done before, but I'm thinking of putting a bit of a twist on it. Teen babysits for married couple, breaks a precious vase. The girl can't pay to replace it, so she winds up being a sex toy to the couple. The couple are part of a swinger / fetish group that persuades them to share there new toy. What do you think? To played out, or is there potential?

18 of course. I'm trying to get a feel as to where to go with the story. The main plot seems to be there, but I need different situations to be added.

She can have financial hardship, so is desperate for the money from the babysitting, also blacklisting, telling other parents she is not good.

Another possible twist... did she find something, like a restraint of some type.... she tried it on and when trying to get it off she knocked the vase.... Imagine the potential of them finding her with an arm sleeve on, beside a broken vase, crying because she cannot get free....

There can never be too many babysitter stories

As anyone who has ever had a good-looking babysitter just as his hormones are starting run wild can tell you, it is probably one of the most common fantasies going.

As to where to go with your particular scenario...hell, just let your imagination run, man. If you want to put a touch of realism in there; however, you're going to have to come up with something more than just the vase. It can be the catalyst, but there has to be more. What would happen to the couple if the girl simply went to her parents or the police and confessed to breaking the vase, but then told them, as a result, the couple tried to blackmail her into having sex? Then who would be in trouble?

So, once she has been thoroughly convinced there is no way out, then she has to continually make excused to her boyfriend and others why she can no longer be a part of their fun and games.

You never thought of the blackmail babysitter theme before? I thought that one was one of the more common ones.

To answer the original question, it is a babysitter story so by default it has been done before countless times. That also means many people are into this kind of stories, so that shouldn't stop you from writing it.
I agree with another poster that it needs to be more than just a vase. If it really was that precious the couple would keep it behind glass, since they obviously do have kids running around. The babysitter wouldn't go for that, unless she was already attracted to either/both of the couple and thinks having sex with them is actually a bonus instead of payment. Of course during that she can (if you want to go that direction) find out things aren't really working out as she thought.
If not using the vase, there are countless other options that can but a babysitter in a possible blackmail situation. And if you want the vase, it is a story so who knows why she does what she does? Maybe she panics and by the time she even considers telling her parents (it helps if she is blond here), she is that much into trouble that telling anyone isn't really an option anymore.
