If there is anyone out there who remotly cares...

Had a doctors appt today for the baby. They did an ultrasound, and put me as giving birth on Christmas Eve. (yikes!). This little one is also modest, and refused to part the legs to let us know what it is. (Must not take after me...) S/he turned, but hasn't turned fully yet, so is breech right now, but that's common.

Hmm... guess that's bout it so far.

Will let everyone know when we get anymore pertinent info.

Congrats!

We have way too many holiday babies in our family...Christmas Eve, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving, Flag Day....you name it.

And at least you didn't hear the words we did...

"Well no wonder you're so big. There's one head, and there's the other!"

-giggles- My doc is so funny... when he was doing the ultrasond, he was pointing out all the parts, then afterwards, turned to me, with a completly serious face and said:

"Now that we are done with that baby, let's take a look at the other baby!"

We have one Christmas Baby, and one Valentines Baby. I am hoping this little one comes before Christmas. I am not looking forward to spending the holidays in the hospital.

A christmas Baby........:D

I always wanted a baby for Christmas.............mine were all summer babies.

Congratulations..............do you have a feeling about what you are going to have?...I knew what all 3 of mine were....I felt so bad because I didn't want a boy ( my second baby)...everybody always says "I don't care as long as it's healthy" whatever....I wanted all girls! I am now being paid back for that by my 13 year old daughter & her attitude , she shrunk my new red sweater in the dryer after she wore it and all she said was..."hmmm...oh well it will still fit me"...she can be a bigger bitch than me sometimes! And my son is just the sweetest most lovable young man I have ever met .......you just never know.

I've said it before here, and I'll say it again...

There's not much more beautiful a sight than a woman carrying a child inside of her. Congrats! :)

Well, with baby number one, I somehow knew I was having a girl. I did. With number 2, I wanted a girl, but knew in my heart it was a boy. It was.

This one, I have a feeling is a girl.

The names we have picked so far are:

Gillian Lyla Isabella for a girl, and
Jaydan Lyle Garrett for a boy. :)

The Things kept our docs all confused. They got the weight wrong, they got the length wrong, they got the due date wrong, they got whether they were identical or fraternal wrong...if we had asked the sex, they would have got that wrong.

The little monsters were just practicing for life OUTSIDE the womb.

We're thinking for the next one:

Another Thing if it's a boy
Differnt Thing if it's a girl

Well, since we already have Thing 1 and Thing 2, we need someway to designate rights of inheritance.

Otherwise, that whole sucession order to the throne gets murky...

Funny you should say that... :) When I was pregnant (I knew in my soul that he was a boy) and had my ultrasound, the first shot taken proved my belief on the baby's sex. He, like momma , was not shy!

Congratulations, and good luck. :) A Christmas baby could be pretty darn exciting!

Merry Christmas. A friend of mine was telling me at work today that they had a baby for her birthday.

Congratulations Gilly

How exciting!! Just make sure that you tell Santa to make sure he drops off plenty of HUGS,,,,,,,,,,,Not those.......the ones that the baby wears.......lol

kgboot;) :) :D

That's great to know.
It's also cute that he/she decided not to open their legs.
Are you sure that the baby didn't tell you "Do Not Open Until Christmas"?

What a wonderful Christmas present!

I hope and wish the best to you and the baby between now and then. Keep us informed on how you are doing. :)

When was that picture taken

Just wondering, because you didn't look pregnant, then. Can I still hit on you?:D

You are so lucky... we are trying to get pregnant but alas to no avail. I have the baby blues horribly bad. I hope we will have a baby soon, that would be so nice. I myself am a Christmas time baby, December 22 to be exact. Not too fond of it.. I always, always get combo gifts...like I'm Jesus or something...

So, if your baby is a Christmas Eve baby, just keep in mind to keep the holidays seperate... you probably know this since you already have one Christmas baby.

Take care and definitely keep us updated... Oh you might want to go to babymed.com there are message boards for expecting mommies...

Don't laugh

I was LITERALLY suppose to be born on Apr. 1. LUCKILY, I was born 9 days late.

:)

I am hoping this lil one will be born before Christmas, but ya never know. And with me.. it is more likly to be a New Years baby, then a Christmas baby.

I had a birthday presant with my oldest daughter. She was 5 days late, and born on the day after my 18th birthday.

No, I wasn't pregnant in any of those pics. Those are all before and after my second pregnancy. None during. :p

Good Luck Kasha! I hope everything works out soon.

And what we do in the family for 'holiday' birthdays, is celebrate them a few weeks before, or after the holiday. My youngest is 3 weeks after Christmas, and we still usually wait till the first of February before doing his birthday. I have a feeling that this one will be after as well, so that we can do them both close to each other.

Thanks for all the responce!
I will keep everyone informed of all the 'major' news. Will even try to let you know when I go into labor so that you can all take bets on the weight/height/sex. ;)

wow gilly that's wonderful.......glad you are both healthy and happy, and can't wait to hear what the new little beaner is.....:) :)

I'll take the first bet
