~ Baby Shower for Lunarkitten ~

Well, I can't top that so I'll just say Congratulations to the whole family. It's another new and exciting journey.

Babies are Angels that fly to the earth,

their wings disappear at the time of their birth

one look in their eyes and we're never the same

They're part of us now and that part has a name

That part is your heart and a bond that won't sever

our Babies are Angels, we love them forever.

~Unknown~

Congrats to you both!!

Thank you all very much  It's definately a good thing to log on to after the game today

A Wish From Baby

I have a little wish for you
for you my mommy-to-be,
this is a way for me to say
thank you for loving me!
I wished upon the twinkling stars
for you , my mommy to know,
that I can already feel
all the love you show!
How you rub your belly
and sing me a sweet song,
and how you ask my daddy
to join in and sing along!
Sometimes it is hard I know
to always do what's right,
like watching what you eat
to make my future bright!
You've already made me happy
my loving mommy-to-be,
you're not waiting until I'm born
you are already loving me!
You will know my wish came true
when you feel how much I care,
a little wish from baby
with so much love to share!

Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth
empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
hang out the washing and butter the bread,
sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

Oh, I've grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue
(lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
(pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo).
The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew
and out in the yard there's a hullabaloo
but I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Aren't her eyes the most wonderful hue?
(lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
for children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Ruth Hulburt Hamilton

Congratulations on your long awaited baby. *hugs*

And great idea, Rebecca!

Update

Currently, contractions are coming about 35 minutes apart. We are fixing to go out for a really really long walk. If we are still around in the morning, castor oil is on the shopping list lol

<>---hating she will miss the Midori workshops :(

Thanks for keeping us in the loop {{{{{{{{Lunar}}}}}}}}

Following rebecca's pacing....

I hate false contractions! lol

I'm still hanging in there. Had an ultrasound done yesterday, she's already up to eight pounds  There goes my dreams of a VBAC. We've scheduled a c-section for next friday morning - unless my pre-eclampsia tests don't come back clear today.

<---posting from the local maternity ward :(

Doesn't matter how you get her out...just get her out safe and healthy. :)
I'm sure you already know you have your own personal cheerleaders here cheering you on. :nana:

*joins KC with the cheering, alternating with joining rebecca's pacing*

ahh the illustrious Mr Braxton I presume.........met him quite intensively a few years back ......... as they say we are 'here' wishing you well and it will be wonderful to help you celibrate even more from afar this little girl. Dammit now I have the song John Lennon wrote for his son Sean going through my head its 'beautiful boy' and that just won't do maybe we can change the focus to..........
