My sweetie and I were watching t.v. A commercial came on and as usual the women were thin, ashbrushed babes. My sweetie complained, "Good grief, if I want to pick my teeth, I'll look you up." OH, was I a happy gal. He said,"And that's suppose to be sexy?"

So fellas, what do you say? Do you like a wishbone or a nice drumstick. ;)

Peace,

daughter(a sista who's got back)

p.s. back atcha Lavy!

Tough call here Daughter.

On the one hand my answer is that I want some "meat", not bones.

On the other hand my wife doesn't have "alot" of said meat, but enough, to not make her, how do I say it right? She's semi-petite, a few here have seen pics of my wife, and maybe they can better explain than I, a man can.

Super models are fine to look at, if they aren't waif thin, but that doesn't mean I want to live with them.

Damn, hope I didn't say anything I didn't mean.

(This seems to be akin to the Q - Do I look fat in this?) ;)

This is one of those thought provoking threads isn't it?

Then why am I suddenly craving chicken?

<Going to put some meat on my bones>

:D

I know this was directed more towards the men

but I like men with meat on their bones. Not big on skinny guys at all.

Now THAT'S a smart man! You are a lucky lady (and he's a lucky guy).

Well, right now I am what they call a BBW, and I have more admirers than I can handle. My sweety is tall and thin, and he can't get enough of me.

So I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I personally aim for good health!

I agree, too! I don't like thin men at all.

As a friend of mine says......."I don't wanna have to shake the sheets to find 'em!" :D

wow this is a tough one to answer.

I like 'any' kind of girl, if she has the right mind and personality
I rarely look at the body first. I always see the face.

if you show me a skiny girl and a fulfigured girl and say choose one....... I wan't them both.

I seriously have NO preafranse.

now I do have a problem if they are sickly small or sickly big.

if you can see bone they it actualy affects my stomach so yes I want some meat.
but if she has soooo much that there are fold in strange places (such as shoulder or back) then I want somthing skinyer.

lol too much thinking from this question.

I've been fat.

And i've been thin.

When i was large my Mum used to say,Tess, you could lose some weight.
Tess, that would look nice on you,if it would fit.
Should you be eating that?

Now i'm thin?
Tess,are you eating?
You should come for dinner.
Here have this cake.
Maybe you should see a Doctor.

You cant win.
The way i look at it,you cant please everyone.
So now i please myself and am quite happy as a size 10,thank you very much.

And if people have a problem with my body?
They need to get out more and find something else to worry about.
Sheesh.

First...My Man likes a chic with meat on her bones. Says he doesn't want to be bruised when he wakes up in the morning. He wants to do the bruising.

Second...I like a man with a belly and butt. Something to dig my nails into while I'm getting bruised.

Sir Mix-A-Lot pretty much says it for me...

LOL...I'm listening to that song right now Jim.

Okay.
Lets turn this around.
How offensive would i sound if i said we watched a fat chick in a movie and my husband turned to me and said,"Baby,if i wanna fuck a whale,i'll harpoon one"

I'd say...to each their own. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Don't like it don't look and don't make rude comments about it. I'm not a little chic. I'm a size 18, my man and a couple of others dig my curves and my cute face. I've had strangers walk up to me on the street and say to me: "You'd be so much more attractive if you lost a few pounds." My answer to them is: "Maybe to you." and walk away. I think more than anything, of the people that are attracted to me... it's honestly me, the person I am that draws them to me for the long haul.

I have been bigger (160 while pregnant the last time) and I have been smaller (102 last year)...at the moment, even tho you can see my ribs...I am medium...I weigh the most that I have in 3 years...and I don't see it changing anytime soon...but that's ok...my kids pass their clothes down to me!

As far as men go...as long as I don't end up bruised from their bones poking into me or suffocated...then I am happy!

Well, as a "so called fat chick" I would have to say, he is entitled to his opinion. And as for being offensive... hey anyone who looks to others for approval, is cruising for a bruising!

My guy is thin, but he has a great body. He is not skinny, and he happens to be gorgeous too! He has a dynamic personality, and he loves the way I look. I am too old to obsess about my weight. I am too busy living my life and loving my man! And many a skinny woman has tried (and failed) to get between us.

Big

Well, actually to each his/her own! My whole family is big boned and I'm big front, back and in between! My weight never matched any chart I've been shown, but I'm comfortable and in proportion. (My lowest weight was 121 and I was just a pile of bones due to a thyroid condition!) Would like to lose a little more just to feel more comfortable in some of my clothes, but that's all.

I prefer men with some sort of belly, and meat on their bones as well! What matters more to me than size is how comfortable a person feels and acts in their skin.

(I already "warned" my man that I'm actually a toothless, 500 lb. hairy beast, and he still wants to visit me!):D

Tess does make a good point, and that is the reason I have hesitated responding to this thread, and I believe, daughter, that is why most of your responses have been fairly neutral so far.

To say, "hell, yes, I can't stand those twigs," could very well be offensive to many women on this board.

On the other hand, as a large woman, I obviously feel good when anybody says they like a little meat on their lover.

Body acceptance is probably one of the hardest things any of us face, fat, thin or in between.

Bingo.*s*
Thanks Ruby.

Well....my husband is 6'7 and about 330. I like men bigger but I really believe it depends on the man. Same goes for women..I don't think you can box a person into one height, one weight.
