Ok, so Baby Brit is due to join us on 10th November.

Wondered if people wanted to hazard a guess as to when he/she will actually join us and...if Baby Brit is going to be a girl or a boy...

The person with the closest answer will win...something I'll think of later :D

Just a silly thread idea that has come to me through the haze of Mini Brit related sleep deprivation.

Suggestions for names are always good fun too! ;)

Basing on the continued theory that we're similar, I say a boy is next, as I went boy then girl.
My little guy was a toss-up between 3 names: his name now, Eryk August, and his grandfathers' middle names.
His name ended up being a certain Showtime character.
 
Hm, I'm betting a little early, hell, why not call it my Birthday, October 20.
 
While I hope it's another girl, I'm gonna say it's gonna be a boy. Why? Dunno, just seemed logical :)

As far as names go, do something special. I personally dislike 'regular' names, because they just sound uninspired. Since you're a Brit, why not a Gaelic name?
 
If you give him/her a name that's a bit exotic or offbeat make sure to give him/her a more normal middle name to fall on. People don't always appreciate their unique names right away and it would be nice to have something to fall back on.

That being said I just naturally tried to write her before realizing you didn't know the gender yet so I'm going to say girl.

Specifics on a name, well, if I'm ever a father to a little girl she's going to be named Wednesday. I can't remember the middle name we'd decided on, but that's probably for the best. It means she won't get made fun of for it in grade school. :D
 
I'll say between the 10th-15th. It's your second baby. And my guess? A girl.

Then again, I suck at guessing.

Well, this got more responses than I'd anticipated it would and I love them all, both date ideas and guesses for the sex. The name suggestions and advice are brilliant too!

Will make a little listy thing of everyone's guesses in the first post, just to make it easier to see if anyone was actually right. :D

All right, I am going to be totally biased here and go with a boy on November 2.
 
I don't know why, but I have had this strong feeling for a while now that you're having a boy. Maybe I had a dream I don't remember and it stuck with me, but yeah, boy.

Day he'll arrive I'm going to with Nov 12th, shot in the dark, but it was the first date that came to mind.

Names... I have always been partial to the name Nicholas.

Ooooh Nicholas is a good name...but we already have two of them in the younger generations of the family so if a boy joins us, not sure we'd make a third one! ;)
 
If the estimated due date is November 10th, then I'd say she'll join us within a week of that time, so November 3rd thru the 17th is my guess. Kinda broad, but oh well.

As for names...I'll only list girl names since my guess is a girl. I've always been partial to the name Zoey, dunno why, but I really like it.

And looking at the poll so far it seems people's think Mini Brit is going to have a little brother. Will just have to wait and see :D
