That pup is certainly going to be given a lot of love...and not just thanks to it's pattern--though the heart pattern is gonna get him a lot of work come Valentine's day. Betcha money he'll be on a million different cards. I wouldn't sell him either.

Chihuahua puppy born with love-heart pattern in fur

A PUPPY has been born in Japan with a large, clear, love-heart-shaped pattern in his coat. The chihuahua was born in May as one of a litter to a breeder.

Shop owner Emiko Sakurada said it was the first time a puppy with the marks had been born out of a thousand she had bred.

She had no plans to sell the puppy, which has been named "Heart-kun".

Well, it’s not hard to see where this 6 week old chihuahua got his name, Heart-kun, from. This cutey was born in northern Japan and is one of a big litter, but the only one with a perfectly formed heart-shaped pattern on it’s fur. Of the thousand or so chihuahuas the owner has bred to date, only Heart-kun came with such a mark.

Just take a look at the pattern. That really is a perfectly formed heart shape. I’d love to have this little fella… but unfortunately, he ain’t for sale. And even if he was, I doubt he’d be going for cheap. Oh well, I can always wish for a bunny with such a pattern (probably not cheap either!)…

It's that weird person pointing a scary electronic thing in his face. All he needs is for a nine-year-old to lie down on the floor and he'll be all over her, tail wagging, licking her face excitedly.

It might be fake. Still a cute pup. Might not be so cute once it's grown into a real chihuahua.

My feral cats are all of them white with black spots and blotches. Several of them have almost-hearts in their markings

One has a mark on her side that is a lump when she's stretched out but a gorgeous heart when she's walking so that the skin folds just right... I'm a slob about taking pictures but I'll try to get that one.

Chihuahuas-- don't get me started. Yo vivo en la calle de los perritos chingados-- they are everywhere, mostly in the form of very tiny mutts. Chihuahuas are actually very close genetically to the extinct Mexican wolf, and once in a while you'll see one that looks like a wolf looked at from the wrong end of a telescope. They act like wolves, too- they show pack behavior and howl in falsetto.
