During the Avalanche / Sharks game tonight, CBC showed a few clips from the one other time the San Jose Sharks were *this close* to moving onto the West final.. Game 6 vs. The Maple Leafs, Sharks leading the series 3-2, in OT Johan Garpenlov fired a shot that rang off the post.. The Maple Leafs came back a few minutes later and Wendel Clark got the winner... Game 7 then was all Toronto as San Jose was never the same.
Before I became a Stars fan in 2000, I was a die-hard Sharks fan... And seeing that playoff moment damn near ripped my heart out again like it did back in 1994.
Anyone else have any moments where they felt crushed by a favorite team's loss?
