Too bad, she was fantastic on that show.

I was pretty young when it was on, but I remember one episode where as usual Archie was being a tool and Edith told him to "stifle himself" and the entire audience gasped.

for some reason i thought she was already dead.

still, it's sad. i was born too late to really care about that show, but she was definitely good in it. also, she's a human being, so.. that's also sad and stuff.
