Dariela "Dare" Ascott
19 years old
5'7, honey olive tanned soft flawless skin, large captivating golden hazel eyes, gently sloped button nose, sharp cheekbones, full pouty dusky pink lips. Toned body gifted with womanly curves in all the right places, perky breasts that stand defiant against gravity and keep growing by a nightly measure. Flat stomach with hips curved begging to be grabbed. A perfectly taunt bubble butt upon a set of delicately muscled legs.
Dare never knew who her mother was, she showed up on her father's doorstep within days of her birth with a letter and some money. A test revealed that she was Johnathan's daughter and her gladly raised her up until the day of his untimely death. A train derailed and barreled straight into his truck, they say it was an instant death and the happenstance that had her moving across the country to move in with her eccentric grandma, who liked to be called Mimsy.
It was a wild life on the road, being home schooled and learning to live off the land. Mimsy had a habit of finding treasures and diamonds in the rough and had made a life traveling the world in search of her next prize. For Dare it was a fantasy life of long nights, cake from breakfast and unreal memories. It wasn't until she turned 15 did things start to slow down. Life became boring and it almost seemed like Mimsy was waiting for something to happen.
And then it did.
When the moon was at it's apex, the minute she turned 18 the world stood still. Dare woke up from a dead sleep, wide away and hungry. Sounds were louder, smells sharper, colors more vibrant and her skin was humming. Mimsy wasn't far, standing in the doorway with a forlorn smile.
All her life she knew her father was different, he was born human, we all were until we manifested. In her father's case he manifested as a sphinx in nature only. What we could become was based on our family lines. There were some fraction that bred only in their creature base, like were-animals, limiting the outcome as what you might manifest as. Just because your mother was a witch and your father a gryphon it didn't mean you would be one of those two. In fact if there was a leprechaun generations back in your family it was possible that your could manifest into that said creature. But manifestation wasn't a guarantee, breeding to humans decreased the chances of manifestation and if you didn't manifest chances were slim to none that any of your children and even less of your children's children manifesting.
Because half her parentage was unknown it was expected that she would be human all her life. So it came as a surprise to her luck dragon Mimsy that she even manifested at all, let alone into a dreaded succubus. Creatures that had been hunted down to extinction because of a prophecy leading to the end of the world at the hands of a succubus.

Chaos.
The sound echoed from concrete wall to concrete wall, causing your ears to ring from the overlapping cacophony. One might even argue that there was a smell, a strange mixture of too many warm bodies and bleach. The scene was an assault on the eyes. Stark white walls that were starting to grunge with age clashed with the cold metal bars that lined the walk ways.
Yet Dariela found peace in the middle of all that hubbub.
Silence followed in her wake and she approached the lone man with a charming smile on her face.
The sudden quiet alarmed the man but he was here for a reason and nervously returned the smile before handing over a piece of paper without a word.
"I see..." Dariela hummed, her eyes scanning over the document. "I think I can help you." She tucked the paper into her back pocket and led the man deeper into the room, ignoring the look of confusion that the man gave her as a steady trickle of warmth started to buzz through her body. "It's okay." Dare cooed placing a hand on the man's upper arm, the transfer of heat spiking deliciously at the contact.
The look of confusion was replaced with a wide eyed doe look as he nodded his head falling into step with the much younger woman.
"This one." Dare purred releasing the man to turn and stare into an occupied cell. "She's perfect for you."
"Are, are you sure?" His forehead wrinkled as his eyes fell upon the cell's owner. "I just, this wasn't what I had in mind." His doubt was heavy in his voice but Dare never stopped grinning. "This is my first time coming to a place like this and I-"
Dariela used that moment to step closer to the man cutting him off from continuing with her invasion of his personal space. "Visit with her." She assured him with a flirty smile. "Get to know her, if you're still unsure we have rooms where you can better get acquainted with each other." She leaned into the man even more and unlocked the door, nudging him inside the cinder blocked room.
Jasmine slid from her cot with a long pause to stretch out her body. Her whole body humming, more then happy to greet the new comer with genuine enthusiasm.
The man still looked unsure but as Jasmine pressed her body against his side, looking up at him with adoring heartfelt brown eyes, Dare could see him visibly relax. He reached down and softly caressed her face, a slight smile turning his lips. "Maybe, I mean..." He cleared his throat appraising Jasmine again before he spoke. "Could we go to one of those rooms you mentioned earlier?" The faint blush was adorable and Dare's smile blossomed as she nodded her head leading him down another hallway.
"Take as much time as you need." She winked opening a new door that showed a clean fairly large room with a small coffee table, some chairs and an oversize sofa. "Flip this switch when you're done." She pointed to a light switch next to the door, giving him one last smiled before she left him and Jasmine alone.
10 minutes later a green light flickered on and Dariela rejoined the man, who now had a wide set smile on his face.
"You were right, she's great!" He raved looking back at a relaxed Jasmine reclining back on the sofa.
"It's a talent of mine." Dare flushed leading the man down yet a different hall with Jasmine in tow. As they neared the door that led to the front door he paused, apprehensive at what might be on the other side of the door. "It's alright. Just a few papers to sign and the two of you can go home."
The man looked back at Jasmine and nodded, that same satisfied smile on his face.
15 minutes later Paul Smith and Jasmine left together out the front doors both the happier for it.
"You're amazing!" Gushed Tara. "Jasmine has been with us for almost a yer but everyone kept glancing over her like she didn't exist."
Dare blushed at the compliment, the warm fuzzies from the interaction between her and the man fading and waving away the kind words. "It was just a matter of giving someone who was right for her a little nudge." She said as if it were as easy as that, feeling only a little guilty that she cheated. "She's a great dog, kind, smart, one who's willing to please just to be loved." Explained like that it almost sounded pathetic had she been a human. "Really I don't know why she was here for so long."
"Because everyone wants the cute puppies and kittens. No one thinks about the older guys who needs love too." Tara frowned giving Captain Mac'n'cheese, the large orange fluffy ball of a cat a scratch behind the ears. Mac was the shelter's mascot and greeted people as they came into the lobby.
"Oh! It's almost three!" Dare jumped seeing the clock. "I got to go or I'll be late!" She declared skipping from the front desk to the back locker rooms that they used for the volunteers and workers to store their things and change into different clothes if need be. "I'll see you tomorrow!" She shouted over her shoulder as she rounded the corner so she could get ready to leave and start her job at the fine antiques story Mimsy owned.
