please help me here i want to know of any avitar etiquet, lore, or mistruths.... not to mention i want my own, do i just go get one, what's the deal... plus i could use some inspiration, and ideas. sure i could just go find one myself, but i'd like to share the experiance

If you are going to use the above picture for your AV, I'd suggest asking someone to ad a certain appendage to Felix, you are afterall at Literotica, so why not combine the GREAT and nearly SACRED Felix, with something sexual.

PaintShop Pro (and animation shop) is availabe in a 30 day trial version at www.jasc.com

iRFanview is available from several download sites. This one is freeware, but not nearly as capable as PSP.

Anybody have a scanner and a Dr. Seuss book for their kids that they could get a better image for me from?

I would like to find a number of different images so I can pick the one I like the most.

Then I guess I need to learn how to manipulate layers in Photoshop so I can get a transparent background.

It would be really cool to have an animated Av where Max is panting.

An easy program to use to do very simple animations is WebImage. It's also good for resizing and compressing images.
But layers in PS is quite simple.
There are some really great PS tutorials at www.renderosity.com if you want to check those out.
