Average Time for deletion requests?

I know things are not going as smoothly as they had in the past, and that there are delays. I don't want to stir the pot, just get some info.

Any idea on how long it usually takes for a deletion request to go through? I wanna start writing/publishing again and I've asked for stories to be deleted a week ago.

Longer than that, usually. Two or three weeks, maybe (usually).

But why can't you submit your new content while the request for the deletions gets processed?

I wanna start by working on those old titles and consolidate many short chapters into a more coherent story narrative.

Easiest way would be to come up with a new title that's similar but not identical. That way it could be a new submission.

Depending how long ago you wrote the original pieces, you might want to put a short sentence at the top, such as, "This work consolidates and improves previous stories," just in case people who've read the earlier content say, "Huh, what's going on here?"

Make sure you add a Note to the Editor too, so it's clear to the site what you're doing.
