Avatars

Completely confused about this. There's nothing helpful in the FAQ section.

I heard that avatars are allowed when a poster has at least 100 posts. But I've seen lately that a few people don't have them and they're well over 100 and they're talking about when they're able to get an avatar.

Has the rule change or something?

If not, then does the Edit Avatar thing just appear in the User CP once you get the required post count or do you have to ask an admin or something?

Second question first: the ability to add an avatar will appear automatically after 100 posts, but you may need to log off/log on.

First question second: the posts were probably posted before the poster had 100 posts. The "Posts:" box shows how many posts the poster has posted as of right now, not how many posts the poster had posted when the post was posted.
