It seems like a bunch of them went live over the last few days. Mine too. It had been pending for 1.5 - 2 months.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding - my very first story has my latest avatar on it. Did you mean something else?

Story side, there are images left from the Stone Aged days of Lit. (mines a whale, the only thing I could find with "euph" on it.)

Unless I've missed something, the lower profile images can't be removed since some switch took place (I missed out on)

Forum switches were down for a significant period of time too (not delays, just not an option) so that dilutes search results.

Author Story Side avatar is switchable. Forum is with a delay. Story side down profile image seems stuck forevermore.
 
Given all the avatar activity I thought I'd try a new one, and whaddayaknow, it's up after only two days! Whatever you guys did to break the logjam, it certainly worked. Thanks!
 
I guess I should try to get me one of them avatars, huh.

It's timing.

It took nearly a month for mine to update. Others have said similar at points.

If you are happy, be happy. Not that my opinion matters but I (and I'd guess many) do associate you with your avatar in a familiar/comforting way.

These overhaul days are tough b/c a lot of us have to relearn those we quick scan via avatars to see their thoughts on a topic.
 
I wanted to change the tag under my avatar here, remove the spaces, and put the whole thing on, Millie'sVastExpanse, but I can't remember how to do that and can't find it in the profile for the forum.

Go to your storyside control panel and click on options. Change the title and it changes it here too.

After counting yours, mine, Candys, and DJs; I think the tagline has a 20 character limit, including spaces.

It seems like more than a logjam clearing, it looks like a change of policy. Previously you could not get an avatar until you had made 100 posts.
