Avatar question...

Now that I've finally earned one...I know at some point someone said there was a great collection of them on Lit somewhere...I'm lazily perusing through "avatar" searches, getting all sorts of interesting things, but unfortunately not too many pix, lol! Any suggestions from those of you who have a bit of a feel for what I would like? Consider it a challenge of sorts, maybe you could even name a reward? Just for a little incentive of course!

Here is a site that seems to be promoted here at Lit. I personally feel that your first avatar should be something more personal(my opinion).

I would be happy to resize something for you if you have a picture in mind. Lit requires your av to be 150 x 150 pixels or less and in either .jpeg or .gif format.

Well, I made an avatar for now, will have to work on it harder tomorrow or when I have a lil more time...I realize I am quite the perfectionist when it comes to my photos...my main problem is getting them sharp enough that small, but it's coming along...

I'll have to do a thread later just of the pix I took with ideas of making them avatars, I like some of them a lot!

mae, try typing avatar in a search engine, this will usually bring up several sites u can visit. it will give you more choices and try to go with 150x150 size or enlarge the av to that size so it shows up well! nice pics btw
