I am sure this is a constant question and I have seen a lot of feedback saying the site has been broken for years .. is there a way to add avatar or profile pic using android?

I believe you need a hundred posts before you can load an avatar, which can be done through the Author's control panel. I don't know about forum-side, though.

I have over a hundred posts, and I went over to the Authors section(which I don't expect to ever use) and put up an avatar picture there, but it hasn't appeared here on the forum section yet!

Here, in the forum, you need a hundred posts to add an avatar pic.

In the member section of the main site in options you can put a pic which will take some days to be moderated, but this will be used only on the story pages (for author of a story, comments or, of course, your profile), but not here in the forum.

I just went and fiddled with my settings and managed to get my avatar showing in the forums - as well as my profile page, which always had it. I think I did another upload...
